Hey, I've been riding about 4 months now and am loving it. Got my theory test booked for a couple of weeks time and hope to get my full license and upgrade to an R6 in September. However, i bought this bike 4 months ago, it,s an 2008 plate and really is stunning. The only problem is I'm sure at some point between my home and getting to work i get a really powerful clutch smell. I'm not 100% sure it's me but seem to get more and more paranoid. I've driven a car for years so I'm not really that inexperienced and know how to operate vehicles so I'm not sure whether I'm not shifting quick enough or whether there is a problem with the bike. I took the SV to the local (to work) Yamaha dealer today for it's MOT. I had pre-booked for 12 but got there at 11 for a while you wait ticket. The main shop and the workshop are about 300 yards apart and it was a little difficult to find as it is above Kwikfit (strange but true). Sorted it straight away. Passed. £30 lighter. Scary slope out of the place. Recommended. CMC Nottingham LINKY

hi guy's, i have just picked up my 2011 plate yamaha yzf 125r and want to change the tail to a tail tidy. can anyone tell me which is the best to get as there is quite a few i have seen. thanks

Help, Does anybody know what size screw holds the Ignition starter switch housing together from behind and below? - it looked like a round head machine screw before it fell onto the lawn,,,,,,,,,,,,, And do you have one to send to a Londoner? (Two might be a good idea, as I am fairly clumsy.)

i own a 2000 yamaha R1 this last year it seems to have a lil less responce then it did the prev year. was wondering if its in the carbs , n should i have them cleaned up?

Hi, can anybody please help me? I own a XS850 standard to which I have triked. I recently bought a Rickman Polaris Fairing and It cacame with a 'Universal' fit frame, guess what? yes it doesn't fit AT ALL!!!!!! So can anybody please send me a picture of the right one and some measuurements and i will fabricate one? Also If anybody knows where to get the right one, even if its a bit tatty, then I will be very appreciative. Thanks a lot in advance. Trikeman.

Howdy, The situation is that im trying to find some chrome pannier racks for the YBR Custom, but cant find any that fit the bike. So just wondering if anyone out there has been in the same situation or knows of any that do fit the YBR Custom?

hi can anyone help me i have what i believe to be a dt50mx which i have no documents for and cant find anything about it on the internet does anyone know what year *5m6 076256* was released as i have matching frame and engine but dont have a clue what year it is or if it has been imported i don't have a clue how to find any of this out as im only 16 so would be greatful of any help cheers

Hi all after been told to trace the wires back from my temp/rev counter back to a sensor that may need cleaning i havent managed to do it any idea where this sensor is as the gauges arnt working and it could be due to that, iv been told. (1992 fzr 600) any help is good many thanks

Hi Guys, Got a new throttle/ oil pump cable from wemoto for the DTR, but when I put it on the bike the oil pump section seems way too long, doesn't even start to open the oil pump when the carb cable is fully tight, could I be fitting it wrong? There are not adjusters on the oil pump cable... Cheers

Hi Guys I am sorry if this is covered else where on this forum, but i have just recently purchased a RS100 for a restoration project. Trouble is that although i have now got it running well the electrics were shot. After buying a new battery the electrics worked for about 30 minutes before packing up never to work again. I have now completely rewired where necessary according to the haynes manual, but although my battery has power, as soon as i connect it to the rectifier it doesn't read any voltage. also the power isn't getting to the ignition. The bike still runs but i have no lights or power to the rest of the bike. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the iss…

hi i just got an exhaust from ebay and it is stamped 4hn and i didnt know there was a difference and my bike is a 4hd am i going to run into any more problems or does any body know any other diffrences that i may run acrossin trying to put the bike back to original parts Many thanks in advance Ormer

Ok so ive been thinking up ways of improving the DT's performance off road, my main gripe is that the suspension is very obviously setup for road use, and is far too spongey and wallowey for my liking off road on jumps etc. Been talking to a mate who have owned a YZ and he said that the swingarm, rear shock and front forks should all bolt up to the DT... is this correct? And if so, will the DT wheels fit the YZ gear? Been told the speedo drive wont work so will need a digital speedo with magnetic drive, and that i will need longer cables making up, that side of things doesnt bother me, just wanting to make sure everything else will work? If not, any advice on ot…
