I've got a dt50r from 2010,got any tips 'bout making it faster? And if anyone knows how the heck you are supposed to get the restrictions outta there? The exhaust doesn't fit back togeter after I've had it open just a bit, so I cant imagine how you should be able to get the restrictions out, and I cant get the whole exhaust off. I'm very noob at engines, so please if anyone has any tips that doesn't involve buying a 125cc... (I live in finland and over here it's 15years old=50cc, 16yrs=125cc(but I aint got the cash for that), 18yrs=125< or car)

I'm trying to rustle up some interest in racing the TZ 350 in the ICGP - we still have to find some cash to make the first round in Spain. Loads of people are always searching Ebay for bike and racing related stuff, so to catch their eye and use Ebay as a promotional tool I've put up the chance to be a supporter as an Ebay item. Click here to see it. Includes of short video of our recent test at Brands. However, if you do want to support our ICGP race efforts, you can do it direct via my website and that'll save me the Ebay fees! Cheers. Mike.

Hi having trouble with mis fires over running, and backfires. I have checked coil, removed small filter in carb ,cleaned all jets , checked inlet manifold rubbers, clean petrol, all slides are moving good (checked with mini camera through the air box, clean new filter, new iridium plug and cap. Checked lead from cap to coil taped up with self amalgamating tape. Still the same. Standard bike, including the exhaust. Any ideas, the only thing i can think of is the CDI unit, or TCI unit on this model. Transistor Controlled Ignition. I tried a working cdi unit today still the same. Going to try another set of carbs and new carb rubbers. Any ideas, driving me mad and the…

Hello all, I just recently recieved an '81 SR250 in pretty good condition, and have been riding it around and it feels/runs fantastic. In the next few months I would like to do a few things to tweak the look and performance of the bike as well as get rid of any unneeded weight. One such thing I have been looking into are replacing the stock airbox with a breathe and pod filter as illustrated here ; http://www.yurisite.com/photos/motik/project/sr250air.html .... my question though is if anyone has done this for this particular bike and could help me figure out what else I need to do other than "plugging" the filters on; any carb adjustment etc... I'm pretty new to wor…
