Hello! I am new to this forum, not new to motorcycling. I am learning my way around this site, and I hope that I posted this inquiry in the right place. I am interested in an MT-03. They are available in Canada I believe. They are not available in the US. How can I find out if this bike meets US emission standards, etc. so I can go to Canada and at least test ride one? Than you in advance for your help. Ride safe, Howard

Hi guys thanks for all the help. I have a slight problem when the bike is in netural or have the clutch in the bike revs fine, but when I ride it seems as thoutgh the bike is missing, but not all the time and some time the reves drop and if you open the throttle they pick up again if you rev it a few times. I think it is a feuling problem so I took off the carb too see if any dirt got in and check the jets when I blew on them they didnt seem blocked and sometimes back fires ____________________

Hi all, my son has got a 1986 DT 50 MX. He was out for a spin when the engine started loosing power and died on him, he noticed that he had no 2 stroke oil left in the tank(numpty) and pushed the bike home. I have had a look at it topped up with oil, bled it through but the bike wont start. Looking on futher got a good spark from the plug but after kicking for a while there seems to be no fuel going to the engine. I have stripped the carb and reassembled it. No blockages and fuel runs into it ok. Tried to bump it and still the plug is dry. Any help would be great. Thanks Dave. Yes he is a plonker.

The speedo is in Km/hr but has uk limits 30 40 70 marked permanently in an amateurish way so i am assuming it has been used in UK at some point. Any help advice welcome ED
