Hi does anyone out there know if a FZR 400 3TJ1 exhaust will fit a 86 1WG model or any other model will fit one. I can't seem to find a replacment any where pls help cheers.

Ok folks I have a very poorly Yamaha FZR1000 RUEXUP 1992 for which I need several parts - set of forks, top fairing & screen & tail peice however despite looking everywhere Im not having much luck because on the 1992 model everything changed the forks became upside ones etc does anyone know where i might be able to find these parts OR do you know if you can substitute them for newer / other model parts - help please the sun's running out quick ............. Hi I was stripping my stat out today cos it is running cool and saw that it said 1wg on the housing . Did they use the 400 stat on the 600 cos mine is a 3he and this could be the reason it runnig cool Cheers webby

well was out on my xj yesterday and when i had to stop couldn't change down gear because my foot kept slipping off the gear shift from all the oil that was saturating my engine, jeans, boots, rear wheel. a piston ring has gone by the looks of it as when the engine was hot enough the oil was coming back through the air box like a running tap. that combined with needing a new exhaust and rear tyre actually means it would cost more to fix the bike up for mot next week than it would to buy another bike...... dilema..... i cant find a yamaha i can afford right now......... so the temporary optins are mot my nsr 125 or but a gsxr750 for £500

hi lads im supposed to be picking up an xtz 660 1992 later on today but before i commit is there any real probs apart from the cdi is missing off the one i am getting its in good nick and was running its bin lying up fer a yr and the black box is in the wind from the checking iv been doing the tdm will fit it but affects the bottom end ? is the cdi a common problem ? seems to be a lot written about the cdi ?and are the 660 and 750s part common to each other i know my way around a bike but its my first tenere and im not arrogant enought to pretend i know it all so any help appreciated also if any one has a pulsar coil or knows were i can get good second hand or even a…

Hey folks! Sorry not been posting on here much recently, jobhunting was a pain but back to work now which is much better. Anyway - added another Yam to the stable last week when i bought my oldest son a PW50 for his upcoming birthday! Looked around usual sources (ebay, gumtree etc) & found one tucked away in a womans garage. Usual story, kids outgrown blah blah blah. It was a bit rough cosmetically but started on the first kick. So i gave her buttons for it & brought it home! Nice parcel of bits arriving tomorrow to fix any issues & tidy the cosmetics but still works out as a bargain. Hi Guys, My R1 is in its origional state and I'd like to tidy it up.. Does anyone know what the best approach is... Im thinking to replace with a new undertray that comes complete with plate light, indicators,bracket and brake lights etc... Is this ok and if so,,,, any ideas which ones fit right and come complete with everything fitted and just ready to change over... Cheers......

ive put my dt125lcs on ebay having no money to do them up theres 2x mk1 and a mk2 loads and loads of bits item number 270591703037 sad to see them go but theres no point them sat there cheers

I have a P reg Thunder Ace, the rev counter is playing up and wondered if anyone can throw any light on it. The needle goes up to 7000 then drops to 4000 then down to 0 but only when the bike is moving...on the stand , it moves as it should...any clues?

I own a 2001 Yamaha XVS 125 Dragstar. She runs like a dream and is the most comfortable riding position for me. But I stuggle with poor performance in initial take off/ lift. I have already changed the front sprocket to one tooth less, but have found no difference. Does anyone know if there are restrictors fitted or of any other ideas to try to give the bike a boost?

Hi my name is adam im new to this forum. Im lookin to get a 4 into 1 header and pipe for my fazer. I cant seem to find one anywhere. I was just curious if anyone knew of a place to get one. Hi guys having abit of trouble with my indicators on my dt125 r, i bought replacement LED's indicators ( dont you just hate the originals) i connected them together yesterday and when i turn them on, All of them just stay on, but not very bright. Have i blown a fuse or damaged the circuit? Do i need to buy a converter or anything? Cheers dudes

Hi. I am new on here despite owning my Thundercat since I was 19yrs old. I have not had it on the road for two yrs since I bought a new Honda 600rr and now want it back on the road! It failed an MOT last yr on rusted downpipes and have just taken them off etc and am looking for replacement ones. Does anyone have anything to offer on replacement ones in terms off what to get. I know some people say aftermarket ones don't always fit easily!!!! I would buy replacement non stainless if necessary. I would be doing arounf 500 miles per year at best!! Hey all you FAZER people. I just bought a 1986FZX700 the only problem with it is it leaks clutch mater fluid. It will not go int gear does it have to do with the hydrlic clutch does it need to be bled. Will air in the system cause it not to go into gear. It sounds like its going into gear but it will not move and I can push it like it is in neutral help me if you can. Thanks

hi there can anyone give me info on yamaha zeal 250 recently bought bike for project there is no cylanoyd or keys i have bike turning over fuel pump and all elecs working but can.t get a spark there is an emty space for a jack plug on cdi but nothing on the loom. if anyone can send me pictures of the wireing just under the seat it would be realy apretiated

Hi I recently picked up off e-bay 3 xv920's in various stages of disarray. I also picked up a 1983 xv920 frame with title. I am looking for sources to find parts for the 1981 rh and 82 rj model. I am trying to restore one of the the 1981 bikes to origional condition and need parts connection's other than e-bay. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
