hi all ,this is my 1st postand my question may have been asked b4,but here goes.Ive bought a tdm850 4tx,the bike had been neglected and needed a new tank and a few other bits and bobs.My question is there seems to be a pipe that comes off between the two carbs and doesnt go anywhere ,i thought it mite be a fuel line, but on the tap the pipe is bigger and seems to go to the pump.Is it a vacum?there is also a long pipe with what looks like a filter in the middle of it .where does this go.there is a off take on the air box and also one under the tank?.Any help wld be grt.

I own a 2008 Yamaha Raider.I recently replaced my speedo face with a custom one. It looks great, but I screwed up somewhere along the way and my fuel guage doesn't work right. Does anyone know how I could fix this. I filled the tank up, set the needle on full, then turned the key on,,,,,showed a quarter tank. So I set the needle to E,,,, turned the key on,,,, quarter tank. Any help would be awesome.

Hi All, the WET battery on my 1995 Virago xv1100 has given up the ghost. Has anyone used or is using a GEL battery on the same age bike as mine? Does any body know if a GEL battery is suitable for my age bike (something about the charging rate). Regards Tony.

Hey guys. I have a small problem with my helmet's visor. My wee brother in law decided it'd be a good idea to play with my helmet and place it visor down into our lawn that's covered in rocks and stones. Needless to say, the visor is now scratched beyond all hope of repair. I've tried polishing and using the special wax stuff. No joy Now has come the time where I'm scouring the internet for a replacement visor, only to find nothing at all in the way of them. Do you guys know if the GMAC Jaguar is exactly the same as another helmet with a different name, or if there are any replacement visors out there? I don't really want to spend money on a new helmet…

I have a 96 xv535 that's leaking at the clutch shaft seal where it enters the case behind the rear cylinder. Local yamaha shop said they have never seen one leak there before. I've checked the crankcase breather and it's clear. Does anyone know what caused the leak and do I have to pull rear cylinder to change the seal. Also I noticed that the aftermarket clutch kits note that kits are not for full synthetic oil. I've been running amsoil for the last 20,000 miles. Bike has 25,000 miles.
