I've made a website for bikers which I would like to share with the members of this forum. It's a website similar to cardomain just for motorbikes instead (no forum). Let me know if I may post it. Thanks in advance.

if you plum for one of these there a good hack to have, but beware of the rear wheel its good for up to 30,000 miles then its have it skimmed or find a replacement..... ive found a few on sites where you bid for em not sure if im aloud to say..... but they have been substandard to say the least. it was a case of scrap the bike or replace it and so £400 later got a new rear wheel. and use ASF grease on the brake activator thats atttached to the rear drum or you will be sorry they tend to get very stiff and seaze up!! I know it happened to me.

my bike, a 1976 xs 360, runs best with its mufflers off. Unfortunately, I cook at a resort up in NH where I also live and even though the bike is small, it puts out some serious decibels when those mufflers aren't on it and I don't think management appreciates the awesome sounds that this bike can make. I'm hoping to find a pair of slip-ons that will make my bike sound unique and hungry but not quite as loud as a bike with straight pipes while still offering no restriction to the airflow which exists in harmony with the up jetting I did last winter and the pod air filters I replaced those huge boxes with. I tried putting the old mufflers that were on it when I purchased i…

Hi all! Just joined the forum. I'm 49 from Derbyshire. Acquired a 1997 XJ600N yesterday for next to nothing. Looks like I'm gonna have to do some work before it'll pass MOT. Main thing is the front tire is shot - all the rest is mainly cleaning and restoration. Bike has done about 31,000 miles. There seems to be an oily leak from somewhere above or around the inlet manifolds. One of the collars that attach one of the inner carbs to the mainfold appears to be loose, could possibly be that. Taking a quick look around the forum top end oil leaks appear to be quite common. Is it likely to be just a blocked breather tube somewhere? I'm gonna need to take the forks …

was out a run today and was sitting in a line of moving traffic at about 50-55 when this plukey-faced arsehole in a corrolla passed out the line of traffic,3 or 4 cars and myself over double white line on a bend!!!! the wee fecker then pulled into a garage about 500 yards down the road to wave at the other tit that he was racing. i pulled up next to him in the garage and gave him a mouthful, told him i was an off-duty traffic cop(hee-hee) and i would pass on his details to the local cops who would be up to visit him during the course of the mouthful he admited that he only had a provisional to which i told him that as that was the case they would lift the car and …

I've just got my hands on a Yamaha YZF-R125 http://hellforleathermagazine.com/yzf-R125.jpg ^ that exact model and colour-scheme I've been looking into an aftermarket exhaust, thinking maybe the Remus? What would people recommend, baring in mind i am riding on a provisional license and CBT so i cannot exceed the 125cc (or the bhp limit moreso).

hello, i have just made an ebay purchase of a tdm850 3vd on a 96 plate, however i know that this is too late so it must have sat around for some years before being registered, i think it may be a 92... any ideas? the main reason i want to know is because i NEED a replacement exhaust as soon as possible (the stock doesnt do the engine any justice) so have to check out the compatibility with other years. there is a potential art race exhaust on ebay for the 2000 model but will it fit??? so if anyone can help or knows of an exhaust please let me know. many thanks- mat
