Hello everybody as the cold weather is getting closer we all know that vehicles act different, So i leave my house the other morning and it was the first frost of the year, after about 5 or 6 miles the bike gets up to temperature. Everytime i stop at traffic lights or roundabouts it stalled and i had to keep up the revs. The bike was idling at about 970 to 1050 rpm. So i thought there was a problem and called the yamaha dealer and they told me to turn up the idle screw and i did to about 1300 rpm and it's fine now glad it wasn't the TPS. has anyone else had this experience as it's not really much of a problem.dave p

Hi folks!! Just wondering if anyone has grafted a newer seat / tail unit onto a 3HE FZR? Seen pics of streetfighters with R6 conversions and think it looks quite good (tho can understand its not everyone's taste). Is it a lot of work, as i'm about to strip my bike down for some rework and tempted to give it a shot. Thanks - look forward to hearing responses.

Hi to everyone, has anybody out there had any experience with fitting hid kits.I currently have a s2 fazer on a 57 plate and as a few have mentioned i find the dipped/daylight lamp not that brill.I didn't want to wire up the other side as a few have done,so i've tried different all singing bulbs but all are pretty much the same.I like the idea of the hid retro fit kits, So question is; are they any good. And as a newbie to all this modern kit do they pose any probs to the bike electrics. Many thanks for any help.

REG NO. R600 SEB Frame no JYARJ031000006906 Engine no J502E0008834 BRIGHT YELLOW GOLD IRIDIUM SCREEN VANCE & HINES EXHAUST Stolen in CASTLE DONINGTON area As you can see it's a pretty striking colour scheme and did many a lap around the track so is well known in the area, so guess it will be stripped down by now hence engine and frame numbers. If you see anything offered that looks like numbers have been hidden or an irridium screen that has had stickers removed please let me know and I will contact owner immediately. I want to start a "good" product reveiw section, I know other forums have them but they are all pretty basic and not great. I am going to run a competition to write a product review to get this started. The product review must be for something related to your bike and have been purchased this year. I will pick the top 5 reviews, these will then be put into a poll for you guys to vote. If we start getting lots of reviews quickly (20+), I shall end this within a couple of weeks, if not I will wait until we have at least 20. The winner will receive $50 transfered by paypal. Now get writing!

Hi guys, thanks to those of you who have been giving feedback via the feedback tab on the left of the screen, and for those of you for putting up with it. It's not going to be up for much longer as the new software will be out at the end of the year. In the meantime we are still trying to collate as much feedback as possible about the use of this forum/functionality etc to ensure that the new board is much more user friendly. We are looking to simplify the forums and add additional areas so please let us know your thoughts.
