I'm new here and looking to buy my first bike. I've found a 1972 CM5 Electric, running and in pretty good shape with 6200 miles on it. I plan to make an offer on the bike this weekend. Any idea what it is worth? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

greetings! is there anyone out there that has a decent set up for standard suspension on a Fazer thou? i have dropped the yokes down the forks by 7mm and that has made the old girl turn in a shed load better!also gone down the renthal h/bars route-much more comfy and lightens the steering up[but watch out for clearance on your mirrors and screen[with the brake fluid reservoir]. hope someone can help. cheers.

Hey all, i was wondering if i would be able to install usd forks on my fz6 and if it was possible, would there be any downsides to doing it. Any advice or thoughts much appreciated.

Have just got fzs 600 when decelarating or reducing running speed there is a vibration through the whole bike . Should I be concerned?

hi, ive been modin my fz6 now and fort it was time to get an alarm i fount a nice falcon 1 for a reasonable price. ive fitted the alarm which is workin but when i connected it to the starter relay cable wit works but the imobliser wont allow it to start any advice wud much appreicated thanx

i wana spray my bike, pretty simple, black and a few stencils here and there, ive sprayed my snowboard before, with primer, 3 coats then clear coats to finish,,,ect is it the same thing? do the metal parts, like wheels and tank, require anything more than the fairing? cheers david

Hi Everyone, Just thought I would say hello to you all. I have been riding over a while now and this year bought my first Yamaha. Its a fazer 600 SP2 and to be honest its one heck of a bike. previously I had 2 bandits which were great bikes but not a patch on this.After reading reviews I decided on a change. Not one regret. On Thursday, a few friends and me are off to Germany for 5 days, so cant wait to wind it up on the Auto Bhan. Watch this space for pictures. has anyone had the same problem as mine that their sidestand has broken or cracked their underbody fairing which is located right behind the sidestand?! just wondering if the sidestand should actually hit the fairing or weather or not its faulty and will be able 2 claim on the warranty. hope 2 get some feedback rick

I just thought I'd introduce myself. Living in Bristol I passed my test in Feb this year (at the age of 41!) after the CBT two years ago. I don't actually have or ride a bike here but have a '99 FZS600 over on the Isle of Man where my g/f lives (right on the TT course). She got me into the biking and I'm loving every minute of it though currently I only get to ride four or five weeks of the year. Both my g/f and I sometimes marshall at the TT and Manx Grand Prix which is a great crack. I'd recommend a visit for the racing to anyone. hi,my names will,and am desparatly seeking info about my fzx 700,i have recentky brought a c reg fzx 700,and am having problems,the bike has been street fightered and i am trying to find out what the original engine/carbs specs are?i also am expriencing running problems,so,here we go,lol,upon starting my fzx,it will not fire unless it is given full throttle,it then will just sit at about 1,000 rpm what ever the throttle position is,tho if u close the throttle off it will just stop,i have also noticed that if you give it any choke,it kills the engine,upon looking more into it,i have found that the no'1 cylinder is not firing straight away,but as soon as the engine is warme…
