Easter weekend fast approaching anyone interested in north east ride out? maybe starting in Newcastle/Westgate Road area to where ever {must have some twisty bits!} Looking further ahead any adventurous types up for a France trip this summer? I,m looking at one week trip starting late Friday night blast down to Dover in to Francais with a stop over and then past the boring bit to the Alps . Nothing booked. No fixed itineray apart from fun and riding, just ferry and then easy rider {but FASTER} cheap accomodation, cheap wine etc. mountain roads and then back up North for work on the Monday.

Hi all i have a Yamaha TTR600E 2005 not a single scratch on it look like new electric start and 2 sets of rear and front weels one with endouro tires and other with road tires.it milage is 900 miles and it is blue and white with 10 liter fuel tank i paid US$ 8000 for it registered and ready to go.Is it to much or are it a fear price.Here in Iceland we have lot of lighter bikes such a Honda 450 crf and Yamaha wrf but also those heavy bikes but they are most old Dakars.Please give me some responce.

Anbody know if the mounting points are in the same place on FZR1000 1988 for engine as they are for the thunderace because I`m under the impression its a newer version of the same engine in the thunderace, bearing in mind the 1988 FZR and the later FZR had slightly different frames.

anyone tell me what type of paddock stand will fit a 650 dragstar cos aint got a clue and its driving me nuts looking. cheers to anyone who has any useful info. john

Hi. Does anyone know if the rear wheel (with alloy rim) from a 77-ish xt500 or even the alloy-rimmed rear wheel from a later-model dtmx can replace the stock steel-rimmed rear wheel from a 75/76 dt400? The wheel bearing ID is the same. I know that the brake backing plate is different between later model dts and the 75/76 wheels, but a suitable replacement from a xt wheel (or even possibly one from a 75/76 dt) will likely work. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, just want to say hello and tell you all about a group of very clever and helpfull bunch of guys that have showm me after 7 years of riding just how much fun riding can be and how good I could feel on a bike!!!!!! I have a 1988 FZ 600 which I'm in the process of restoring, can anyone tell me what the exact colours are for my bike? Its red & white, the white on the fairings look slightly pearlescent, is this the correct colour? If anyone could give me any help that would be great. I want it to end up as original as possible. Also, where could I get replacement decals from, I've looked on ebay but there isn't any. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, Got a 1996 YZF750R, FSH, and mint condition. The other day it started making a very slight knocking noise at certain revs. I have had the bike 2 months and it has never done it before. I had done a lot of riding that day and it was warm, and had been topped up with oil as well, as it drinks oil like a 2 stroke. It's not a loud knocking and I am not too worried, but would like to know if anybody has any ideas about what it could be. It was not doing it before I added the oil, and I am inclined to think it has something to do with the amount of riding done and the oil. As a precaution I have changed the oil completely since. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for an old pw 50 or know how to hotwire one? I've been trying to get this thing running forever but dont have time or money to go out and buy a manual. if anyone has any special tricks for wiring one of these things up please let me know!!
