My SR has developed a noticeable rattle in the engine, but I'm a bit of a bike retard so I don't know what it actually is, does this sound like a crankshaft bearing? Only thing I know is its a long job to fix so another question is if I have a problem with the bottom end how long is it safe to keep riding?

Goodevening fellas. I was first hopeing im writeing this in the proper place of the forum and second hopeing somebody could maybe coach me along a lil bit on some things in here seems im the new guy. Hello, I have a 1991 DT 200. It runs nice but very hard to start when cold. Has good spark, Wet plug. Does any one have any sugestions please. Ps I am looking for a wiring diagram online to get the lights going again

Hi, just wondering does the Yamaha MT-125 have storage under the rear seat. On lots of bikes nowadays you can use your key to unlock the rear seat and then you can store some small things underneath it. Just wanted to know is the MT-125 has the same feature. Thanks

Hello there everybody, my headlight bulb has suddenly gone as well as my speedo bulb and back right indicator. My front right is a solid orange and dosnt flash. (My front left and back left work and tick fine although something near the battery is making a strange sound as you turn them on). Does anyone know what this could be? Bye for now, louis

Hey there! My name is Jay and I have a 2004 tt600re. I live in Uganda but travel to the usa for the summer months. The US never imported the tt600re so finding parts seems to be next to impossible. Do you know of a shop in the states that carries parts for this model or of a similar model that uses the same parts?

I think I'm having issues with my Regulator/Rectifier, my bike keeps blowing up headlight bulbs, I took my Regulator/Rectifier out and the pins where covered in green corrosion, after sanding that off and cleaning them I don't wanna put it back in yet before I make sure it's functional. Does anyone know how I should test it? My user manual just says to check the batery voltage whilst it charged from the running engine.

Hello guys.. am new here so hopefully you will have some good knowledge.. I have bought a bit of a project 50cc aerox have been putting it together and when I tighten up the bolt on the end of the crank variator side, it all locks up?.. if I loosen the bolt it all frees up and spins any ideas?.. crank all moved freely before rebuilding head and fitting water pump side everything went smoothly until variator.. please help

Hello folks, I've had my 1300 midnight star for a year now, battery went flat over the winter, charging didn't help so I bought another one from e bay, that went flat too!!! I have not used the bike so charging is not an issue and there's no parasitic drop, any ideas please? Can I turn off the immobiliser/alarm (flashing red light on speedo head). Thanks, Andy

So decide to Bobber my xv125 and currently looking at rear suspension, I know the Honda rebel 250 struts bolt straight onto the xv250 and I'm led to believe the xv125 and xv250 are the same bike just different engine bore and cdi unit, so if this is the case the rebel 250 shocks should also bolt straight onto my xv125, Anyone help with this ,

A couple of week ago i was riding along at 60mph and all of a sudden my bike jolted and lost all power like the throttle had been shut off. Ever since this incident at about 6000/7000 revs in 4/5th gear it just loses all power and i cant get over 40mph on flat. 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears work fine but its when i need to go up a hill at 40mph that it just doesnt go. Does anyone know what may have happened?

The headlight on the bike is not the best and the main beam is next to useless. Can anyone suggest a better replacement and possibly a cheep place to get it. Thank you. Take care

Hi guys, another question for yous. I've changed the brake pads on my bike and bled the system. What could be causing a lot of play in the lever before the caliper activates as the lever is hitting my fingers when I pull back - I like to have two fingers still on the throttle when I go to brake.. Anybody had advanced timing issue with 80 to 83 XT250. Bike started to kick back when trying to start. Checked timing and it is way too far advanced. Timing is a little over two inches distance on flywheel advanced. All source coil and pulse coils check good. Any possibility CDI unit has just shot craps? Please let me know if you have seen this issue. Have checked position of crank. "T" mark lines up when at TDC.
