Afternoon all Had a quick look and there seems to be a few people introducing themselves so thought I might aswell do the same!!! New to biking - passed my test in August and have a 2000 plate FZS600 Fazer. Very happy with the bike and looking forward to going to the motorbike show to see what Yamaha have on show!! Can't afford another one yet though. Really enjoying biking. Even on my CBT I realised why so many people love it. Had a couple of scary moments since I passed my test and after having numerous cars thinking they can get out of that junction first, have invested in a fluorescent bib!! Every little helps! Always brings a smile when bikers acknow…

Just saying hey. New to the forum and biking. Me and my buddy ( he's around on here somewhere) just got ourselves XVS 125 DragStars. Planning on doing the Full test later in the year and moving up to bigger bikes, but for now we're happy with what we've got and having some fun.

Came across this forum whilst looking for information on tyre pressures for my FZS 600, and a lovely place it is too Anyhoo My names Ray, had my fzs for about 2 months or so,, and just passed my test today , wooooooooo hooooooooooooooo lol Been out on the bike most of the afternoon covered about 80 miles or so and just love it to bitz. Bit strange moving from a 500cc to the 600cc fazer, couln't believe what a difference it is. Getting used to the bike now, just buzzing about Grangemouth, Falkirk, Bo'ness etc to get the confidence built up before the obligatory trek to the Green Wellie this Sunday, really looking forward to it. 7. Well, it wouldn't be a new month without something new coming into the unit. Continuing the trend, it's an XS500... Built to do 70's class races in France, owner did two races, had a motorcycle accident (not on the track) and couldn't ride the bike any more. There are no lights, but unlike the flat-tracker it has its brakes, good tyres and has passed race scrutineering before, appears to be well built and very clean, had it running today and it certainly gets a move on, charging system appears to be intact, needs a silencer to be anywhere near road legal though, figured it could be an early birthday present to myself. Oh a…

Hey there peeps. Been a while since I updated the toybox, managed to pick up a rather unusual piece... It came from Holland, and was used at Venray motor Speedway Stadium before it closed down some 7 years ago. It runs, there are no brakes (you die like a man) and it's just a little bit nutty, kind of like me. It's nice to have something unusual, and even nicer to have something with a story (including the dented tank that resulted in a broken collarbone!) , I'm undecided Wether to move it on or just hang it up in the unit beside my Aprilia

Hi All, I've just purchased a "1984" (Mfr date on frame says 4/83) Maxim 400 with 6800 km. I've done the basic tune up work and put on new tires. The mechanic I had it at said it looks great but there's normal wear and tear on the rubber parts, cracking, fading, etc. I'm not very handy but I'm hoping to learn a bit with this bike to get familiar with some basic things. Me, I'm 30, new to bikes. Took a couple of safety courses last year and got my M2. I live near Ottawa. Mike

Hello all, another newbee to the forum, I'm not a noob to bikes, been on them for twenty years now (on and off ) anyway, at the moment I have got a CBR1000F, yep the old jelly mold but a mate of a mate has got a 1000 EXUP he wants rid of and its got my name on it.(its been sitting for a few years) I've never had a Yam 4 pot,I have had quite a few yam stokers over the years but thought it was about time I rectified this so expect a load of questions on what goes where and how to take it apart and what size hammer I will need to fix it

Hi All, Yes another Newbie, must be the weather making us all feel like getting back on our bikes (yeah right) I have just got myself a Thundercat after being off of 2wheels for nearly 4 years. Used to own a 2000 R6 but due to getting older and fatter needed a bit more comfort. The bike seams lovely and smooth, obviously not the same to throw around the corners but pretty nice none the less. Anyway lets just keep wishing for some dry days. Keep safe all.
