had a slight spill on my r 125 and is gonna cost me near on a grand to replace all the panels on the left side and top of tank. but as only 2 panals are actually broken and rest just a bit scratched up i thought i may be cheaper to just replace the broken panels and then have it all sprayed. if i do end up getting it sprayed i thought i would go for the 2009 fiat paint job (might as well ay). anyone have any idea what sort of price i would be looking at. obviously if its cheaper to replace all panels then i will do that.

  2. {{if $formValue}} {$value} {{endif}} Movistar Yamaha MotoGP's Valentino Rossi turned his fortunes around today at the eyetime Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich, claiming a strong 6th place after a superb comeback race. Maverick Viñales had a more challenging outing at the Red Bull Ring - Spielberg track, but made up ground in the second half of the race to finish in 12th position. Rossi started from 14th on the grid and was wary of the first lap, when the busy mid-pack of the rider field would be diving into the tight first corner, but he managed the situation well. He finished his first lap in 11th place, trying to be both on the attack and the defensive. At…

  3. Rossi didn’t let the changeable conditions slow him down and set a fastest lap of 1’32.437 on lap five. As things closed up at the front, fans were thoroughly entertained with a heated battle between Rossi, Marquez and Iannone. Sparks were flying from Rossi’s bike on lap 12 as Dani Pedrosa started to get into the mix. Six laps later rain threatened again, allowing the Doctor to reel in Marquez. Rossi kept his head down, but as the track dried again he came just short and finished in a deserved second place, 3.516 seconds behind the front man. Teammate Lorenzo had an unlucky end to the 2014 season. Starting from fourth on the grid, he soon got caught up in a fight with …

Monster Yamaha Tech3’s Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro completed the final day of testing with many positives to conclude, for the beginning of the MotoGP season at the end of March. Both Monster Yamaha Tech3 riders experimented with various aspects of their Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP bikes in order to find the most suitable set ups which would suit their riding styles. British rider Bradley Smith ended the test with an overall feeling of satisfaction regarding his performances over the past three days, as he prepare…

Any1 tried riding one of these?... I had a crash course (literally) when I went to India abt. 3 years ago.. Never been on a bike before learning on an Enfield... So for me, gear changing on the Right and brakind with the left foot was normal... Great fun they are!.. but not when they land on you because you try to avoid a bullock heading for a collision course (totally oblivious those things!!!) The best thing about riding in India is that you dont need to wear a helmet - such a sense of freedom!... - just pop your flip flops an and away you go.. err ensuring you've clothed all other necessary bits.. regards -mits-

FIRST I'D LIKE TO SAY I'VE RIDDEN OVER 30 YEARS AND HAD MANY BRANDS OF MOTORCYCLES. I PURCHASED THIS (RSTD) A FEW MONTHS AGO.IT IS KIND OF HEAVY BUT DOES HANDLE WELL ONCE ROLLING.THE FACTORY PLUGS WERE NEVER IN ALL THE WAY TO THE HEADS MY THOUGHTS ARE THEY WERE PUT IN WITH A REGULAR SOCKET BUT YOU NEED A THIN WALL SOCKET TO DRIVE THE PLUGS ALL THE WAY TO THE HEADS.I CHANGED THE OIL AND FILTER(OIL IS 20-50 CASTROL AND THE FILTER IS A PURLATOR THAT FITS VTX ,WINGS BY THE LONGER ONE ).PULL OUT THE FACTORY PLUGS( THERE CHEAP)PUT IN NGK.I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE TAIL LIGHT SO I ADDED SOME RED LED'S STRIPS ON THE CHROME FENDER SUPPORTS AND CONNECTED THEM UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT…

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a reverse gear put on a Royal Star Venture, and if so do you know where it can be purchased. Needed due to accident, would prefer to have it converted than go for a Goldwing or BMW. Preferably in Canada or the USA. Thanks

Hi Guys I am sorry if this is covered else where on this forum, but i have just recently purchased a RS100 for a restoration project. Trouble is that although i have now got it running well the electrics were shot. After buying a new battery the electrics worked for about 30 minutes before packing up never to work again. I have now completely rewired where necessary according to the haynes manual, but although my battery has power, as soon as i connect it to the rectifier it doesn't read any voltage. also the power isn't getting to the ignition. The bike still runs but i have no lights or power to the rest of the bike. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the iss…

Morning guys just got hold of a 77 rs100 and trying to get it running. Is a non runner at the mo and needs various things doing. One issue at the mo is with the clutch pushrod. I can't get correct adjustment on it I've removed the pushrod and found no ball bearing so ive fitted that and now I can turn the adjuster so it just touches the end of the rod but it goes so far into the case I can't put the lock nut on ! Iam thinking the previous owner has fitted the incorrect length push rod in it? Anyone know the correct length for a 77 rs100? Anything else I might have missed? Cheers

Hi. please excuse my ignorance. I once owned a yz125 when i was 17 but now im 45 and have not owned or ridden since i was a kid. But this Christmas I got my 14 year old his 1st bike. A 1997 Yamaha RT 100 dirtbike. Seems to be in good shape although the girl who owned it painted it pink and green..lol. Anyway.. I have tons of questions some simple and some not so simple. So im looking for help. lets start with an "easy" one. does this bike take gas oil mix? if so whats the ratio and easiest way to figure out how much oil per 1 gal of gas.......that may be a dumb question but I saw somebody talking about an auto oil injector..and i was confused if this bike needs oil …

I have an older RT 180, I'm not sure what the exact date is, and it recently stopped shifting. I haven't ridden it in several years and had to do some work on the clutch and the internal shift mechanism was rusted a little bit. When I left for college my dad didn't store it properly and water got into the housing, After cleaning it all out and replacing broken parts, gaskets, old oil etc. the bike ran decently for a few days. It would randomly downshift a few times but the more I rode it the less it malfunctioned. I was riding with a friend on the back and as soon as we both were on the bike it wouldn't shift after that. When I move the pedal, it clicks and feels like it'…

My trusty old fitness first rucksack (must be 3 years old, so not bad for a freebie) failed me this morning and the one strap is completely buggered. It hasnt been bad in all fairness, keeps stuff dry too which has been important. So I need a new method of carrying important* stuff into the office on my daily commute. So do I buy another rucksack, but this time a 'proper' bike rucksack? Or Do I try and get something fixed to the bike, the problem might be that its an XT125R and I dont know what I can fit to the bike. Will a tank bag fit it as its a plastic tank isnt it? Or do I go for one of these universal top boxes for the back? All help appreciated from you expe…
