I have a XVS 650 Dragstar classic. When I apply the front brakes at slow speed they are very snatchy and I come to a stop in jerky movements. I took it to a mechanic and said I thought the brake disc needed changing - he tested the brake disc and said no it was fine. Neither myself nor the mechanic can think of what could be causing this problem - he has now said he is going to take the wheel from another dragstar and try it on my bike to see what happens. Just wondering if any of you can think of anything that could be causing this. Thanks Mike

Hello Just got back into biking and bought a 1995 YZF750r. took it for the first time above 8000 rpm and it started choking. then came to stop on a busy bit of road. Manage to start it after 10 mins with no throttle. Kept it under 8000rpm al the way home - no problem. Is it the EXUP ?? Any Ideas?

Hey there guys. After many months trying to sort my FZ400 1985 out for MOT, i finally thought it was ready to go. So I booked it on monday and took the wee beastie on the 15mile trip there. All went well with brakes, lights, bearings and the general workings of the bike until..... drip drip drip drip. MOT guy noticed a fuel leak pissing all over the side casing. Nooooo it was going so well. After inspection noticed the fuel pipe connected to the carbs had a split in it. Thank god the guy was easy going. We took the tank off and cut the split off. It was my fault for using cheap jubilee clips. After the disaster it passed with flying colours. Just need to get it taxed and …

  14. Folks, sorry if this is inappropriate, but: Screw eBay! www.bikesforbikers.co.uk is now open for business! Like most of you probably, we (me & 2 mates) were getting pissed off with eBay's monopoly. SOOOOO…. My mate had the brilliant idea of starting our own auction site, exclusively for bikes & bike parts. We’ve spent the last few days setting it all up, and it’s live NOW. It’s “under development”, and also remember that we don’t have eb*y’s coffers, so it’s a simple set up, so it’s not as slick, but it does everything we think we need!

HI problem is that when I am riding my Yamaha DT 125R, It over heats. When I take a look in the radiator, there is nothing in there because it as overflowed out of the radiator expansion pack on the back of the bike, i have also had the head and barrel skimmed twice as im sure it was warped and thought that was the problem but it still seems to overheat and spit water out Please can you tell me why this is happening and how to fix it.
