Thought this part number decoder might be useful: Part Number in the format XXX-XXXXX-XX-XX XXX-XXXXX-XX-XX The first three digits are the Model Code (every model in the Yamaha Product Line has a unique model number) all parts are given a Model Code of the first model they were used on. XXX-XXXXX-XX-XX The middle five digits are the Basic Code number and indicates the actual part, i.e. 11631 = piston; 11311 = cylinder, etc. "W" substituted in the first position of this five-digit group (000-W0000-00-00) indicates a factory assembled kit which differs in content from the original assembly used in production (i.e. 2M0-W0046-00-00 – Rear Break Pad @$$’y)…

Anyone know of a reference for the HSC32 carb. I have a 1981 Maxim XJ650. I'm rebuilding the carbs and ran into a little (I hope) problem. I left the carb block sit in the carb cleaner and all the rubber seals at the end of the throttle rods and in where the return springs are has rotted away. I hadn't planned on taking these apart - so much for that. I have the Yamaha factory manual (paid $82 bucks for it) and would have though it would have been more thorough (it's just slightly better than a Haynes). I'm replacing all the jets, cleaned up a bunch of stuff, replacing all the screws, etc. It's cleaned up pretty good but now I have to replace all the rubber. Any poin…

hello lads.. im hoping someone will read this and help me out,, im after a set front and back, tyres for my r1 on a 98 , the rear is 190/50 or 55/17 and the front is 120/70/17. im after a set that has been round the track or part worn if possible, as we all no , there is a reseshion and im trying to save a few pennys!!! as ya do .. so if anyone has any tyres or noes were ill get a set from , can ya let me no as this will be much appreceated!!!!!! cheers for your time ... john

Hi all i need a parts and workshop manual for a yamaha neos 100cc been looking for a while now but no joy, does anyone know where i mught find these??

What kind of set up do you guys use for washing / cleaning parts? I've seen a few on Ebay with the pumps - but not sure of the quaility and if I really need another piece of equipment if a plastic dish sink pan and stiff brush would suffice. Also - what type of solvents do you prefer? Thanks for the input. G

Hey guys. I have a 1981 sr259. 3y9 by the vin plate. Im having trouble finding parts correspondent to this nodel but found a ton of parts for the 3y6. Does anyone know if the 3y6 parts transfer over to the 3y9? ?? Or any secret source online other then the old ebay? Thanks heaps Jaseo

I am new to this, so please bear with me. I have a 1975 yamaha, XS500B, that I purchased new. It has been sitting for about the last 10 years. It ran when I parked it so I suspect with a fluid change, battery and clean up of the carbs, it should run. Here is my problem... I will be needing some parts for this bike. I just bought another bike or the same year and model on ebay as a donor bike. It is really too nice to take apart and runs well. I can get some of the parts I need from this bike but still need some other. My biggest needs are an exhaust system and the trim pieces for the left side cover. Anyone bought parts from YamahaPart.com?? usa .. You cant find all old XS500 76/77 mod. parts here in Norway , so I ordered parts from them 25.10 07 and paid by Visa . There is no reply if I try to mail them , so is there any knowledge of this firm out there ? No mail , no parts recived yet . Engine disassebled , work stoped . any one know where i can get a parts list for a 2006 r6 ? i had a smash and now have the estimate but have now idea whats bits are what as only have numbers and some thing like lever but what lever?? IE: it wll say some thing like 123533 cover 1 . what cover is that >??

Hello. I've been using the Garage Forum, but not had much luck. Quick question; I am sure that there used to be links to parts manuals on this forum, but I think that the links have been removed. I'm building a DT125LC enduro hybrid, using a 12W frame (Mk 1). I've picked up an engine, which has come from an RD 12A. Does anyone have a parts manual for a 12W?, or know where I can get one? I've a rolling chassis, but need to kit it out with a 2 stroke oil tank, and various other bits and wanted to avoid buying the wrong bits. passed my test today, was shittin it all weekend that i would fail cos there are no test dates available near me before the new test comes in. breezed it with zero faults and i had a very poor lesson before , just thought i would tell some one .
