This has to be one of the funniest sites online, they are all stories from a guy who works for a design company called deMassi Jones. He makes fun of his co workers and are all true stories. His famous one was the 7 legged spider. The sites been around for a while but he has just updated it with asking to trade his furniture for a new motorbike. Check it out http://www.27bslash6.com/R1200GS.html The Party in Apartment 3 is great too

Having replaced the ignition switch on my bike as you could start it with a screwdriver blade, it was so worn you could start it with the handle end!! I've now got yet another key! I really could do with only ONE key, trouble is I can't see how i can!!! I've now got 5 keys! The original key for the steering lock and another for the helmet lock which is non original. The new one for the ignition switch and one for the top box, plus the chain lock key! I was thinking about getting a locking petrol cap but that means getting yet another key!! making six! Surely I'm not the only ONE? Can anybody beat my set of keys?

Hi, I may need a new battery and have been phoning around a few local dealers to get prices. I've been quoted between £42 - £48 for a sealed unit which I think is on the expensive side. Not keen on ordering from eBay, can anyone recommend a good reliable online store?

Having recently sold the Fzr & bought the twin, I always vowed I'd buy another fizzer at some point as I have soft spot for the wee buggers Well... Having my daily look at local free ads, spotted a familiar bike for sale. It's another 3he, but with updated forks & a single sided Swingarm conversion. Tried to buy same bike last year (it needed a clutch at the time) but was too late. Seems cheap enough, though as usual my suspicious side says there's prob somethin wrong with it! Just gotta persuade the wife now that I need to blow savings on a bike I don't need!!

Been having my daily trawl through the local bikes for sale - spotted a foxeye fzr600 for sale. It's been reducing in price week by week & is now down to £750. Has 22k miles, tax, mot & new Tyres. Need it like a hole in the head but kinda miss my Yam! Just gotta convince the wife it's a good idea....

Got some new knobbly tires on the bike yesterday so thought i would do a spot of greenlaning Went well for the first hour or so then....i went too quick through a large dip in the path (far too fast) and bottomed out my suspension, this got the numberplate to catch on the wheel, this smashed the reg plate to bits taking the left rear indicator with it AND also smashed the rear bearing Had to get it just ticking over in first whilst walking very briskly alongside it for a mile or two then managed to get signal then got hold of family to come and fetch me, and the bike of course. I found the bit with the reflector on the path and the rest was spre…

ok if its someone on here i feel guilty..... Xt 125 got a bit ahead of themselves today. Couldnt be arse to play chase after 400mile in the truck. Not to mention using my baby in these awful conditions. Well the next turn they did it again. Im assuming they thought it was another 125. So once the road straightend a little i made like the starship enterprise. Warp 6 mr sulu. Still feel guilty though.

I've just managed to drop one of the air filter screws on the right hand side of the air filter. It's disappeared into a gap and not come out the bottom of my R1, despite removing all the panelling. PLEASE someone else tell me they've done this too! I've no idea where it's gone, would appreciate anyone suggestions as to how to find it / get it out. Rob

Hi there, I bought an open face helmet last week, and took the visor out - presumably its still "street legal?" as its not compromising the overall integrity of the helmet - supose its down to the failure modes of the helmet - i.e. i might have done myself a favour by removing it - for instance, if I were to crash, a shard of the visor could poke an eye, or even 2, or en a pair of eyes, and a piuerced throat (hmmm - I know - pessimistic, but it could happen...)... So tell me peeps, would I get pulled over for wearing my open face without the visor, and of course, with my terminator shades?!?!.. regards, -Mits-

I'm thinking of buying an 09 650 vstar silverado. My wife and I like to ride together but our combined weight is around 270 lbs. Do you think that the 650 will be able to haul us at 65-70 mph. We don't do much highway riding usually roads at 40 mph speed limits. Do you think that this bike would be right for me?

Hi everyone! I am new on this forum, so will introduce myself: My name is Ventzi. Last year I bought 2 R6's (from a mate that did some racing) - A road bike, and a complete bike that needed alot of putting together (He had been taking bits from it as spares for his track bike) Anyway - Both are the early carb models - the road bike being the updated model with twin rear lights, and project bike being a 1999 early model. I loved the bike, and did alot of miles in a few miles - and quite comfortably did a bit of touring here and there - once even with the girlfriend and a set of soft panniers on the back! Anyway - I sold that bike, and now need another one to do…
