Guys, I was just image google'ing FZ1 and I saw the bike as a naked bike, it looks kinda like a bmw k1200r. Whats with this? Every Dealer has the bike with the body kit which is nothing like this bike, I cant find this bike anywhere. They are named the same FZ1 Can someone explain this to me, Im not too familiar with yamaha's yet.

Hi Everyone! I've just joined the club and have a couple of questions and would be grateful for your comments. I am about to buy a XJR 1300, hopefully the SP model in the livery last available in 2000. It will have to be the blue one! I am waiting for the right bike to turn up on ebay but am not really sure of the value of that model of XJR. If anyone could enlighten me I would be grateful - what should I be prepared to pay for an A1 example?. I want to know what everyone thinks if this is worth buying or not. I have found a 2001 R1 (today is 5/11/07) that has 2 miles on it and is being sold as a "New" bike. I have seen this bike up close and basically it is "forgotten stock" from a dealer. Here is the dilemma; Retail on a 01 R1 from Kelly Blue Book is $6300.00 in excellent condition. The dealer wants $8000.00 for the bike and they won't budge. is this bike worth 8k even though it is an 01 with 2 miles on it?

Logged in yesterday to the site and having a look round. I have a 2001 FZS6 in the best red/black/silver colour scheme. and enjoying the Welsh roads Bike was immaculate until I hit gravel a few weeks ago but she is back to full fettle now. ive just bought an 02 r1, done about 200 miles since ive owned it,am having trouble engaging first gear ,sometimes, lots of clutch noise & clunky gear shift has anybody had similar problems & sorted them if so i would like to hear from u

so i just start working on my bike its a old 400 xs special and it's running rich on the left side i think it might be timing but im not for sure i have white smoke comming out the left exhaust and it back fires alot. what do you think? thanks The 400 xs special

firstly hello to all. I am also a member of c2c forom for my car and saw this so thought would see if it was as fun. well other half went out on my bike on friday. was lovely when he went out and then came back and he had been playing silly bugger ON MY BIKE and come off. scratched the lower right fairing broken the mid right and nose cone. how f##ked off was i. was glad his sholder hurt as has hurt my baby. mind you would have been a lot worse if had not had my crash musrooms on as that is really hammered an expensive weekend alround

Hi folks first time on forum, Quick question just bought 2000 xjr 1300 and gear selection is a bit ropey, sometimes wont select next gear up or down first time needs two touches, is this a quirk or is it selector or summit else any thoughts before i put into garage.just came from virago so learned that all clunks and clangs is not a malfunction it is bike quirk cheers sooty

Hi. gang. Recentley bought a 2000 w reg xjr 1300 sp. Although very pleased with the bike, looks, grunt, accelaration etc. Took the bike on a short tour of the cotswolds and shropshire, with my wife, tank bag and panniers. Found the rear shocks were not quite up to the job and found it to be bottoming out and even grounding the main stand in some uneven corners. Before we set of, id put the shocks on the hardest setting (2 clicks with the c spanners) and the circlip above the shocks is in the fourth groove. Any tips on stiffening further, or at 30,000 miles do you think the shocks are past it.

Hi all, Just got me a double bubble iridium screen and wondered what the stance is with the law and the tint of the bike screen. I know the visors for helmets are not legal but what about the screens on the bike? I think they are legal since you don't see through the screen @ legal speeds

Wonder if any of you have experienced the following? Bought an 03 R6 in march and it was nothing but trouble. In the end i changed it in at the palce i bought it for an 04 R6 in Ltd Edition kenny Roberts yellow, it had 1600 miles on the clock and is lovely. Only had chance to take it out a couple of times and second time was from Southend to St Albans and back. On the way there, banging down teh A127 and suddenl the revs start dropping and it's not responding to throttle input at all. As I slow down I drop it a gear and the revs pick up, then die again, dorp another gear they pick up briefly.. you get teh picture. In the end all I can do is pull in on right hand s…

Hello can anyone help me identify a Yamaha 50cc I have recently purchased from a barn find. No sign of frame number VRN indicates 1987 however this does not match model as it has drum brakes to the front and the rear??? Anyone who can identify this by Engine number it is : SF6 105979. I have just bought a 1996 honda cr125 motocross bike and was wondering what fuel mix ratio i should use. One person said to use 100ml to 5litres and another said to use 125ml to 5 litres. Which is correct and which oils is best to use? Many thanks in advance.
