Hi all, I am rebuilding a farmyard-find 1982 Xt125 from the frame up and have decided that it is probably worth converting it to 12v as I will be fitting it with all LED lighting (all original lights/clocks are missing) My question is: Which Regulator/Rectifier should I use? should I just go for a 4 wire generic one? I have gone through what remains of the loom and surprisingly, apart from the switchgear and ignition switch areas it is mostly complete and looks in reasonable condition anybody done similar?

I've finally got my YA6 running. Took it for it test run. My transmission shift pattern is Neutral 1, 2, 3, 4 down. Is the correct? It shifts fine. I can't find any documentation about this. Thanks

Hi , Never taken my bike on a ferry . Has anyone had recent experience of travelling from Newhaven to Dieppe with DFDS Tansmanche Ferrries and what is the procedure for tying the bike on-board . Thanks

Well just got back from birmingham went up for a night out and stayed at a mates in wythall. Went to the Works and saw JENNIFER ELLISON !!!! She is just so fit 8) Unfortuantly i couldnt get within 3 metres of her which is probably just as well as i would probably get arrested :shock:

Ok so I reshod my steed yesterday with some Dunlops (207RR's). My mate rang me at work in the afternoon he'd heard there was a good band playing at a pub we sometimes go to so we made arrangements and of we went for the evening. Band was good had some diet cokes, time to leave. Get into the carpark 5 bikes in a row all with flat back tyres. Some git slashed them. I was NOT impressed and neither was my bloke as he had to bring his tranny van over to pick us up! So today I put on another new back tyre...

Can anyone verify this ? I bumped into an old pal and he said he's just finished convalesing after suffering 2 detached retinas. He said he woke up one morning, sneazed violently twice and went blind. For the past 2 weeks, I haven't been riding due to a nagging headlight prob with the XJ......cleaned & replaced just about anything that remotely had to do with the headlight, still with NO positive results :? I decided to pull the dimmer switch apart one more time to check voltages, put it back together & was going to have a 30yr. hi everyone i just sold/swapped my £230 seat ibiza for a 400exup and am just wondering what they are like??? it is red and white, and has 40k on the clock and has clocked up 100 miles per year for three years the lad says it will need sprockets and chain doing in about 1000 miles and a back tyre for its test not a prob as he says the front sprocket hasnt bin welded on like my 600 :evil: but it sounds ok so i thought id ask what they are like??? cheers

I know this is the yam club, but i just thought i'd let you know that i had a blat on me mate's KTM 640 LC the other day, an all i can say is ,I WANT ONE. helluva lot of fun and an extemely forgiving bike, on and off road.

i`ve just bought an FZR 1000 Genesis.It won`t rev past 7000 rpm.I`ve changed the coils,plugs,leads and fuel pump so far......any idea`s please?
