Hello Everyone, This is my first time here. I am hoping that someone can help me out. I am in the process of fixing up a 1992 FJ1200 that I bought. I am really having problems finding an aftermarket smoked windscreen for a 92. I can find some but the year only goes to 90. Does anyone know if a 90 windscreen will fit a 92?. Also if anyone has some good websites that I can visit for parts that would be great. Thanks everyone and have a good day! Jeremy

Hi Im new to forum. Ive got my 1st xt 550 25 yrs old. Im stuck for advice on parts that will fit onto bike. I need a headlight and tail/ brake light. either aftermarket or xt parts, preferably aftermarket or would a 600 tenere 83 headlight with mini fairing fit onto my bike ? I wanted a square headlight that most enduros have fitted, with little fairing surround. If anyone can help with parts, and fitting advice, would be really helpfull. desperate to get it on road.. Also the plastics are looking rough. Is there anything i can put on them to bring them up, to save money on new ones ? sorry for all questions, i really have no experience with trial bikes.

Yippee, passed ma theory this morning I was well chuffed as I got 50/50 for the multi "guess" bit and 58/75 for the hazard perception. I've booked my A2 practical but jangling nerves mean I'm keeping the date to myself (sorry!). I had my first go at u-turns during my lesson yesterday, did some fairly good and some bloomin awful so loads of practice now required. Cheers. Amanda

Hello. I've done this in the wrong order, my initial post is already done and the intro comes second I joined to answer a question about Puncturesafe, but the Missus has an FZ6 Fazer (I've also had two FZS600 Fazers), so will keep looking in on here from time to time whenever something falls off it, as it's me that ends up doing most of the work on it. Mechanically it's still sound, but it's in a bit of a state cosmetically. She has put 83,000 miles on it since she bought it new in 2005 though, so it's allowed to look a bit tatty round the edges. She uses it as her commuter (she has an '06 Tuono for fun) and takes it from Newbury into central London and back e…

Morning all, as you can see i'm new here. I've had a few off road bikes and more recently got rid of a Blaster 200cc Yamaha quad. About 18 months ago I got a new job in the centre of Cardiff and ive been catching buses ever since and it pains me! It takes 50 minutes to go 4.5 miles on a bus! If I can convince the missus and im trying my best I want to get an XT125R. Now I've done my CBT but about 5 years ago so I guess thats expired?? I have a few questions I hope your helpful lot may be able to answer! 1) I got my Driving Licence in 1996, so do I need to do another CBT to ride a 125? 2) I'm 6'2" and 15 stone, is this bike going to be big enough for m…

Just saying hi.... I purchased a DT-50-R SM on satarday in a bid to save money and put my car off the road ( petrol prices - join my facebook group protest if you like - http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=371188528552 ) I am 28 and 17 1/2 stone and completely standard it does 80kmph downhill and only 40kmph uphill but luckily my short trip to work is only 2 miles each way in a 30 limit I bought a 50cc because I can drive it without any need for licence as my car licence covers me however after numerous calls to the DVLA I was given very varied answers as to what I need to do to get a 125 or larger bike in the future when moneys not so tight Can anyone here a…

Hey All, I'm not sure if I'm in the right area to post an intro! Anyway, my name is Bazil from sunny Perth, West Oz. I bought my first 84 FJ11 in 97, kept it stock for a couple years & then decided to pull it all apart to do the usual mods to her. Well life & the missus soon got in the way, and it was sittin in the back shed (still in pieces) till last year when I suddenly got a bit of inspiration. Have had a few bikes in between, but as hard as I try I cant get the FJ's outa my system. I got half way thru the rebuild & and suddenly found another FJ11 on the net. This one was a show bike & I couldn't take my eyes off her. Immaculate! Had to have her! …

Hi Guys and Gals New member here. Novice bike rider with a 2001 Thundercat. Although I'd always wanted one I had never been on a bike, even as a passenger, until couple of years ago when I bought my Thundercat with a view that, if the bike was there it'd give me motivation to sit my test. I hadn't even sat on the bike before buying it to see if my short legs would reach the black stuff . Passed my direct access but haven't really had much time on the bike so confidence is still low. Poor I know. So hoping to get some miles under my belt this summer and get to grips with this motorbiking lark !

Hi to you all, I've just bought a 1984 Maxim 700 which needs a bit of TLC. Never had a Yamaha before but had plenty of British bikes over the years and one Honda. I gather I've found the best site for finding bits a nd pieces for it. Nice to be here.

Wotcha everyone So ok I'm 43, over 18 years married and am on my third go at starting to ride Attempt No 1: When we lived in Los Angeles for hubby's job in 2001, I thought good weather, nowt much else to do with my time (not allowed to work, shame, and no kids) why not?! Did California Motorcycle Safety Foundation course, bailed first one 'cos of extreme heat and major blisters on my hands!! Bought a brand new Kawakasi Ninja 250R in girlie yellow and purple paint scheme (doesn't seem to be available anymore). Lots of practice on parking lots in Winnetka area where we lived in the Valley aided by my lovely patient hubby. Loved my bike, BIG cheesy grins ev…
