Hello everybody, I'm new here and happy to join the Yamaha-lovers. I've just bought an XJ900 '83 (31A) this afternoon. It is in a terrible state now, but I'm hoping to get it restored to its former glory. For the moment I'm a bit confused, since all the pictures I can find on the net, have a square headlight whereas I have a round one. I have found an owner manual and there I can see the difference between the 900F (with square light and three gauges (speedo, tacho, fuel) and the 900 (round light and two gauges (speedo and tacho). Now, my bike has a round light and speedo, tacho and fuel gauges. Any information about the bike would be appreciated a lot. …

Hey folks, new to the site, probably will not be a very active poster as such, I just had a few bits and pieces lying in the garage and thought it best to come and offer to the genuine enthusiast rather than Ebay and the sorts! I have a TZ350A, TZ 350 Spondon and various other old British clunkers lying around!

Hello everybody, Gravesone here. I've just got myself a FZR400 WG1 Genesis on a 86' plate, which I'm in the process of stripping down and bringing it back to it's former glory. I haven't had a Jap bike for over 30 years, my last one was an RD250. I'll be needing quite a bit of help and advice on the refurb. Your help will be much appreciated. By the time it's finished (12 months approx) it will take on a 'Stevie Baker' colour scheme. The previous owner has had the chain 'hand grenade' on him smashing the water-pump, I've had a quote for £241 direct from Japan , does anybody know anywhere I stand a chance of getting one? The whole bike didn't cost much…

Hello all, Just joined the site after purchasing my 2009 R6 last week. It should be ready for collection after they fit the alarm and R&G tail tidy (obligatory purchase). Then all I need to do is bed the motor in and i'll be ready for the summer. I'm dying to get other bits for the bike but fear a divorce will come after it took me 2 years to convince the wife that I NEEDED a brand new bike. Stay safe, Foxy
