Afterwards I will know; Don't run towards a fire Don't stick my hand in a sharps container I need to wash my hands after I have been to the loo A box doesn't need to be big to be heavy Don't over reach And I am a valued member of the team. Oh.......... Happy days!

Hi guys, I've suddenly got no headlight nor speedo backlight, though the sidelight works just fine. I've replaced the fuse and installed a new bulb, with no luck. Is there a headlight relay? I've traced the wires back to a relay behind the rh sidepanel, but all the exploded diagrams I can find say that this is the side-stand relay(!) Help!

Hi All, Bought a yamaha XJ6 N for my commute around town and boy is it fun! Been adding a few bits and bobs to it and generally replacing OEM with Chinese plastic but still its looking pretty badass these days. Even if it does make a racket ;-) What do you guys think? Anything overly critical instantly recieves a slap in the face with a motorbike glove as challenge to a race around London...

Hi I have an xt125x that I am getting back on the road. The headlight does not work...it works off the bike. I have traced the problem to the black earth wire from the back of the light. Whilst all the other lights work, a quick resistance check is showing the black lead is not grounded. Now...the black wire disappears into the wiring loom and must connect to ground somewhere. I have a wiring diagram which shows it links up to all the other lights...they all work remember...so it must be a fault either at the connection of that black ground wire somewhere or a fail in the wire..... So question...does anyone know where it connects to ground...or will I have to strip th…

Hi All, I am really enjoying my fist trip into Cruising and my Yamaha XVS 950 is putting a smile on my face with every mile. I just have a question around the 1st service as mine has just gone through this. The cost was £95 (£35 of which was labour/not too bad) the filter was £11 but a further £34 was on Oil in the amount of 4.5 litres. This seemed a lot on both counts and looking around it seems that the bike only takes 4.0 litres anyway? I can't believe a flush was done and this was certainly not mentioned by the shop. So my questions are does the cost sound reasonable and also with the 4.5L of oil could it be that either it was only 4.0L or that it has …

I'm looking to upgrade the stock tyres on the YBR125 for the winter mostly as I plan on using the bike as often as possible. Any recommendations? edit: hmm maybe i should scroll down when entering the forum so I can see *all* sections. I can't seem to be able to move this to the more appropriate section. If a mod can I would be very thankful!

Hi guys, I wondered if someone could help me with a query regarding replacing the handlebars on my 2012 XJ6N. I recently came off the bike at a pretty slow speed and only did a small amount of damaged which included bending the handlebars slightly. I'm looking into replacement them with the cheapest option possable. Has anyone replaced their previously and can off any help / advice of what bars to buy? Cheers, Nate.

Christmas is coming up and my parents have asked what I want, I really need a new set of tyres for my yzf 250 as they're worn, as I'm no expert in picking out the best parts for my bike I once again ask the great people of this forum! So a new set of tyres is on the Christmas list, what tyres are worth asking for? I ride woodland quite abit and is really mucky so I'm looking for some big nobbly tires. Also in really struggling on finding some blue and white graphics for it (my kits blue and white so I want it to match) any websites that you can suggest to me? Thanks a lot

Hi folks, Hopefully you guys can help..... My DT125R barn find has NO wiring loom at all, so rather than buy one i'm keen to rebuild one from scratch so that i know how to do it / no breaks in the loom etc. Can anyone provide any guidance such as what gauge wire (5amp / 8amp etc) and what colors i will need? Im totally useless at wiring diagrams as the one in the haynes manuals looks like total jibberish, so if anyone has a simple guide for wiring up the CDI / Rectifier / ignition / lights. Hopefully thats not too painful, but i would really appreciate any help!. Thanks everyone.
