Hi guys, im new here, yesterday i was driving home from work and all of a sudden the bike jus seemed to die, as if it was losing revs radpidly, wen i tried reving it it sounded like it was struggling to tic over and as if it was flooded, so i turned it off, left it a few minutes and tried agen, but still the same. Im not quite sure but i think i touched the clutch leaver up while i was driving without the clutch in, not sure if that would make a difference or not. How ever i changed the 2 stroke oil a few days before. But other than that i dont know what it could be. Wondering if any of you guys would know cheers, by the way its a dt125 r on a 03 plate 4k on the c…

Right, my engine is fucked, the keeper on the cam sprocket snapped off and fell into the crank and mangled some shit that I haven't even bothered to inspect yet, along with putting scratches into my BRAND NEW cylinder. So I'm just gonna swap the engine out for another one whilst this one gets a rebuild. Now, onto the meat of the question: I've been offered a 2006 YBR engine for a decent price. The problem is that those have a carb and not EFI, but thats the only change, and I'm guessing that I can just swap the stator over to the 2006 model and be golden. As far as I can figure that's about as far as I'd have to go, anyone else have any thoughts?

Mate of mine is doing a charity ride to Peru and one of her sponsors is the Army. The White Helmets donation to the ride is a free off road training weekend at Bovington Camp in Dorset...... and I have been invited along Always wanted to have a go at this, I love mountain biking and skiing and was always up to my neck in muck as a kid so I reckon this is going to be a fun weekend. Just waiting for the bumpf to come through the post, but any experienced mud skidders on here can offer some words of wisdom so I get the most out of the 2 days ?

Just joined your forum, and though I would say hi. My son has just purchased a 1994-5 YZF600R that has seen better days, so we are in the process or rebuilding it. Where is the best place to get spares, for example engine sprocket nut (somehow missing?) exhaust gaskets and fairing fixing rubbers. Many Thanks

I have just been pulled by three coppers for looking over my soldier whilst changing lanes. Apparently by doing this you are acting suspiciously. It was only this afternoon me and my friend was having a conversation about how inept the police are. Yesterday my friend witnessed some youths burgling a garden shed and stealing a lawnmower and a strimmer. Throughout the incident my friend phoned the police and told them, but not surprisingly to me, the youths got away with it. Anyway I got pulled for looking over my shoulder. Once I explained myself the copper realised he was wrong so started been aggressive. He then tried saying I was looking at him, so then I told the…

Hello everyone. Yes, I'm another new member. Not only to this club but to the world of Yamaha motorcycles. I have owned 2 Ducati's previously. A Monster 600 Dark, purchased new in 1998 and a 2000 model 748, which I bought in January 2006. The 748 set fire to itself last month and has been rendered 'uneconomical' to repair. I test rode a 2005 model R6 yesterday and decided to buy it. Have I made a good choice?

Myself and my mate were going through town today, we were behind this cage who clearly didnt give a rats arse about any other driver on the road, he choped and changed lanes at will, pulling straight out in-front of everyone without looking anywhere, Now-- my mate is hot tempered at the best of times and i knew this would drive him bonkers, so after following this fella for a bit and watching his anticks on the road, we were coming up to a junction, suddenly, my mate flew past me, stuck his left boot out good and high and lamped the mirror straight off this fellas car, he then stoped beside the car to see the drivers window coming down and to receive a m…

Hi Guys, I went for my M/C Theory Test this morning and........................ :? I PASSED! Got 35/35 for the theory part and 53/75 for the Hazard Preception. Next step is to go for the DAS course. I need to save for a bit first, I think the course is about £500-£600! I'm going to save for a leather suit and a pair of boots as well (about £500! ) before I do the course (might as well).
