went to Brid on my little 125 yesterday with hubby, and i said to him as we parked up, hope i don't stall on the way out as its a steep hill from the harbour car park! Anyway walked round had the usual fish chips and a cuppa! Got back to the bikes to see a chap on a brand new 125 bike, not sure what make, had all saddlebags, screen etc, he got halfway up the said hill and......stalled! I really felt for him as he kept trying to get it going, his mate behind on a 1300 Suzuki shouting * " what gear you in you plonker" he ignored him but tried again, by this time 3 bikers sat on the wall stood up and started clapping and jeering, i whizzed round after sitting on my bike and …

So here is the scene. Riding at 3am on a Thursday morning, clear road, good conditions and good lighting. Hardly anyone on the road. Fuelled up, necked a red bull and was feeling awake and alert. So riding in a 30 mph zone, through a small village, rounded a bend and OH HELLO CAR, YOU ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!, so much so he even was head on with me as I was as far left as I could go!!! Anyways, strangely I did not panic, swerved and avoided a head on, now the problem, not enough braking time, a kerb and wall in my path, noooooooooooooooo, I had to bin the bike!! Over the handle bars I go landing 5 feet away, and manage to watch my bike to a 360 flip and la…

Mate sent this to me made me giggle. THE MIRACLE OF TOILET PAPER Fresh from my shower,I stand in front of the mirror, complaining to my husband that my boobs are too small. Instead of characteristically telling me it's not so, heuncharacteristically comes up with a suggestion. "If you want your boobs to grow, then every day take a piece of toilet paper and rub it between them for a few seconds." Willing to try anything, I fetch a piece of toilet paper and stand in front of the mirror, rubbing it between my boobs. How long will this take?" I asked."They will grow larger over a period of years," my husband replies. I stopped. " Do you really think rubbi…

So I'm getting a 2013 Fazer 8 and it's coming in Matte Grey. Has anyone any experience on if/how you should clean this paintwork? Part of me thinks you shouldn't polish it due to matte not supposed to have any shine, but thought I'd ask... Thanks Dan

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2...15875-21644074/ now in my opinion the nuts and bolts of this story has no hard standing, can anyone from Tesco lend any meat to this survey?, well I phoned and asked and their spokes person said "nhaaa haa, sorry we dont do spokes" I would like to enter my own hard line probing on this matter ! A: there has been an up-surge of 'water-bombing' by kids from high rise flats over the summer months. B: 1 out of 10 ferret owning motorcyclists 'who expressed a preference', said their ferrets preferred the 'Johnny suit' to their owners purchase, namely 'ferret 1st time' motorbike waterproofs' from 'Oxford'. …

Hi, I've put up with it for long enough, but now the "read owners manual" label on my tank is starting to annoy me. I've taken the waterproof layer off the top of it. And I've picked at it with my finger nails but it's bloody stubborn. Has anyone else got any suggestions, I don't want to damage my paintwork trying something stupid Cheers

Hello everyone, A while ago I moved from Spain to the UK and settled down in West Yorkshire. I've been driving here for many years on business trips, but only on four wheels. Every country I lived in so far had a different code of behaviour for riders (not necessarily bound by law), and I'd like to understand the do's and don'ts specific to the UK. My main questions: 1. During rush hour traffic, is it acceptable to ride between slowly-moving car lanes? What the Americans call lane-splitting. Will it attract negative attention from the police or other road users? Any difference between local roads and highways in that respect? 2. In simi…
