Hiya peeps Just thought I would say hello as it seemed rude not to Anyway, I have filled in my 'about me' page so I am not going to bother writing it all out again. I have been a Yamaha nut ever since I was old enough to reach the bike mags on the shelf. The first bike I saw in a magazine was the newly released Yamaha FZ750 and I have been hooked ever since My first ever bike was a Yamaha FZR400RR at 14. Purely car park and industrial estate riding, I never managed to fully appreciate the bike I bought a brand new R1 in 1998 (certified as number 137 off the production line), but I was only ever a passenger I'…

Anyone got experience of fitting - did they match up ok and last a good time etc - Any experience welcolme? I tried to use the putty to fix but then realised there were more holes than metal!

Hello all, just signed up this morning My name's Craig and Ive got myself an FZR 600 4JH model as a bit of a winter project. Its a bit tatty but thats mostly cosmetic, nothing some new plastics and a bit of paint wont cure. Not new to Yams as I spent my formative years on TZR reverse cylinders (mainly rebuilding TZR reverse cylinders lol) So hello, and looking forward to learning more about this bike and contributing when I can

Hi to everyone, I'm new to the site, just got a 2002 R6, as a 2nd bike, 1st was a Kawasaki er6-f nice but no where near an R6 in any way, (in my newish rider opinion) while I was riding the er6 i wore a caberg justismo gt helmet which was fine but for some reason when i'm on the R6 (maybe coz i'm going 'a bit' faster) the caberg makes a cracking sound where the visor hinges are, any one know why??? Anyway i'm after a good full face helmet now with about £150-£200 ish cash, has anyone got any advice which ones are any good??? been looking at AGV Stealth..what do you think?? Cheers

Afternoon Everyone I am looking at getting an R6 as my first bike early next year so I though I would join a forum so I can gather some information before I spend my money I am more into my Retro Bikes and Cars but figured as a first bike, something slightly newer might be a better idea So if anyone fancies offering up some info on R6's, I will be looking at earlier ones due to a restricted budget. Cheers Sammo

Hi all !!! I have just joined and thought it would be nice to introduce myself, I live in Norfolk in the UK and I ride a mint 2001 R1 in the best colour which is of course red. The bike was bog standard when I bought it and I thought I would tart it up a bit but I can't stop customising now, love the bike and it is super quick, I have been riding bikes for 20+ years so I know what I like. Pics of my baby, but need some new pics as I have since added carbon frame protectors and an Ohlins across tank steering damper which was definitely needed.
