Hi guys, as im sure you all know i am new to this website and i would like you guys to share some of ur wisdom with me. Well my problem is that i have £2400 lying in my pocket and i would like to buy a Yamaha tzr 50 and not some shi%^ty rs50 or s.s.s.scooter I would like to ride to places in style like you guys and not like these ch^vs on peds I have found a place that sell new tzr 50's for 2000 which i think is very good, considering an rs50 new is £2600. I would by one today but my mom is giving me the talk about how somebody else should suffer the depreciation and not me, but the truth is i want a bike that somebody hasnt thrashed or scratched and i can only f…

Hi to all at the club. I have recently bought a 1988 RD 350 power valve. It has been running OK but recently when off the powervalve 0-6500 rpm it mis fires and there is little power as soon as I get it on the power valve it goes like a rocket. I have removed the carbs, cleaned and reset, I have checked all the ignition side and given it a full service. Some times it drops on to one cylinder gor 4 miles or so then comes back on. I cant seem to cure the problem. I am not sure if it needs a de-coke or if there is something else I should be looking at. Can anyone shine some light for me and point me in the right direction. My local dealer has all th…

Worked my ass off over the weekend, playing lumberjack as I gave the 4 big maple tree's in my front yard, a long overdue trim......spent both Saturday & Sunday running a chainsaw from a good 20+ft. up a ladder. .....looks like a tornado touched down @ my place now! Weather was great as it was in the 80'sF both days......so I managed to get out for a spin both evenings just to kool off & blow all the sawdust outta my hair & pockets! ....... I've seen plenty of squirrels, jay's & crows(flying rats!) around my place in the last 20 years......but this was the 1st time I've ever seen 1 of these chaps hanging out around my garage ...... …

I am a born again, bought a 2002 FZS 600 done 34000 great fun for the summer but ready for an fz1 now. Anyway I have been using a silicone based dry lube and was pleased with it because no flick, however I now seem to have developed a tight spot on the chain. I do not know what miles the chain has done, but there is bags of adjustment left and the sprockets seem in good shape, my first thought was to replace. Do you think it is worth first trying to clean well, and then try running it with wet lube? Am I risking doing any further damage to bearings? And secondly what are your feelings on silicone based dry lubes as opposed to wet lubes? As ever you opinions would be ap…

Hi All, Is there any way of increasing the sound level or getting a more noticeable note out of a standard FAZER 1000 exhaust can (mine's an '05). Has anyone done it? The standard can seems to perform ok but is dangerously quiet startling every car driver you pass as they never seem know you've been behind them for the last mile or two. It seems a shame to have to replace the std can with an aftermarket item in the interests of rider safety, I'm not looking for more power, its got plenty and the bike's perfect as far as I'm concerned. I just want to advertise I'm there as I'm getting fed up with dopey drivers not looking in their mirrors. Best regards to all.
