Hello, my name is Richard, and I'm a YZF addict. I passed my test recently, after years of RS125 'ing. Bought a really nice, no FANTASTIC!, Thundercat from WEBBS in Lincoln and cannot keep off it. My missus says I'm barred from it until she's at work tommorow. I'm counting the minutes and sort of just keep going out to the garage to look at it. I'm addicted. But any way that's not why I started this! I just wanted to say: Hello YAMAHA fans! What a great forum! Look forward to being here when I can't be out there!

Just a quick post to say hi to everyone and introduce myself as I don't think I bothered when I registered! I am $hando a 33 year old jock shanghaid from the motherland (Jockistan) to live amongst the southern shandy drinking, dungaree wearing sasenachs (not really true as just about everyone in London is from elsewhere :? ). Just recently got back into bikes after a long absence (last bike was when I was a spotty youth of 18). Anyway, came to the conclusion that my life would not be complete without a bike so decided to go for me test and get legal and my missus got me a 04 R6, as a result I must "put out" on demand  So I guess it's true that there's no such…

Good afternoon to you all, Please some advice from experienced boarders would be great! I just got myself a lovely little yam RSX100, £260 for a 1990 in good nick. I do need to replace the tires, and was wondering where is the best place to get them. Im not necessarilary looking for the cheapest option, however other then ebay (and i have looked), i got no idea where to look! With cars, you can just take them down to the local garage and hey presto - new tires! How about with old bikes? Could i just call a yamaha dealer, do thety still make this type of tire? Any assistance you could give would be great, please excuse my ignorance on this matter but as i sa…

Hi, my name is Scott and i live in Aberdeen. Passed my full bike test a few months ago and bought my first bike a month ago, a 1991 Yamaha FZR 600 Genesis. Best thing i think i've ever bought. I am needing to replace the tyres on my bike. Due to the age of my bike, my tyres are really thin, the back tyre is 140/60/18 and the front is 110/70/17. I have 2 options at the moment which are: Dunlop GPR Alpha Bridgestone BT96 Has anyone got any opinions/experience with these tyres and also any recommendations for other tyres i could get which will acommodate my sizes? I was recommended Michelin Pilot Sports but i don't think they do my sizes. Any help here would…

Hi all. I am a newbie into the biking world at 25. I am looking at getting an XT125R Brand new with the view that I may have it a year before taking my test. I know nothing of bikes currently so buying new will give me the ultimate peace of mind. Are there any owners of the XT125R on here. Should I post in the relevant bike section for owners views. Thanks in advance.

Just thought I would introduce myself as I've been lurking around for a while now. New(ish) rider, did my CBT last september and bought an SR125, which has been great fun, looking forward to summer and not having my visor steam up in the cold! Considering doing my full test when money permits but for the time being I'm happy on my 125, and the sense of satisfaction when topping 60mph on that thing is still great fun. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Also been looking around the Bike Chat Forums but this place seems much less bitchy!!

I posted this in the new introduction section as well. Sorry for the redudancy. Hi, New to this forum but not to bikes. I'm thinking about getting an older 2 stroke and have settled on either a '73 RT1 360 enduro or a '79 DT 250F. As many of you know these are enduro street/trail type bikes. Anyone have an opinion one way or the other? If you do I would appreciate your input. Thanks, Dave

Hi, Just joined the site. I had a look at it earlier today at work and you seem like a decent bunch My boyfriend has an R1 as well as several other bikes. He is mad on bikes, goes all over following the GP. I've finally agreed to go out on the R1 for the 1st time next week!!! I am so scared, but I want to do it. Just not sure how I'm going to hang on!! I thought I'd better join a club so that I can learn a bit about bikes......I have horses so if anyone needs advice on them...I'm your woman. Maria.
