I cant see a Newbie room, so I will post here to introduce myself. I am Neil, and I am from Nottingham. I have always had a passion for bikes, but my circumstances have not always allowed me to have one. I am now the very proud owner of a 2000 R6 in Blue. 11,000 miles, bought on Sept 18th. I love it. Its pretty much standard apart from a high lift, oval dual exit Blue Flame exhaust, LED rear lite cluster incorporating rear indicators, little front indicators which I hate and will replace, and a nice under tray. I have "chavved" it up a bit with a small blue lite underneath which illuminates the hugger and the under tray, and I am told it looks really smart. If I hear i…

Hi i have a 1982 dt125 lc. Its all in reasonibly good nic apart from a couple of things. The indicators and rev counter are not working at all but im putting that down to some faulty wiring behind the dash because all of the lights flicker with bumps. What i am really in need of is the left hand switch gear. The horn button in not there at all and the indicator button is broken inside. Ive looked for this switch on the net but i dont seem to be able to find anything at all. Does anyone know of anywhere i can purchase one of these?? I see these older bikes everywhere for sale so there must be some companys out there who has some electrical parts for them, surley? …

Hi guys and girls. I have just joined the forum after passing my CBT last Sunday. I bought mysel a virago xv 125 and CBT as a package to finally get around to learning to ride a bike after 20 years of dreaming about it. I have been having tons of fun learning and it's every bit as good as I hoped. I'm from North of Scotland and looking forward to chatting to you all.

Just a little intro on myself. I rode while in college, then got married and stopped. (big shock) Now, I've gotten back to it with a little 88 FZ 600. It runs really well, and has enough power for me as I am just getting back into it. I'm interested in working on it so if anyone has any ideas of what types of modifications will work on this bike I'll look at them all, no matter how crazy. Especially exhaust, intake, front forks, swing arm ideas. It's great getting back on the bike!

Hello all you fellow Yama-riders - another Newbie checkin' in... I'll get this round. Barkeep... I just found this site through a Google search for "Yamaha clubs". I've been riding Yamaha's since 1980 (several other bikes before then, but only Yamaha's ever since.) I'm currently in the process of restoring a 1980 Yamaha XS850 Special (three cylinder, shaft-drive.) Please let me introduce "Sweet Melissa": (this pic was taken last summer - many changes since then and she's still a "Work-In-Progress") Anyway, "Hello Everyone" - I'm looking forward to spending lots of time here!

Hello all, Just introducing myself to you all, I'm David from Liverpool, I currently have a Blue Yamaha RXS100 (((have been on L plates for 10 Years - and 4 CBT's!!))) which was rescued from a freinds back garden 6 months ago where it had sat for 5 years out in the open as you can imagine it was in quite a state I felt sorry for it so I paid him £100 and took it home with me to work on, having spent lots of time and a small amount of £ on it it now looks really well and runs terrific, perfect for my 6 mile each way journey to work and back which I do twice a day. Insurance is only £8 a month and the bike feels like free motoring as it's that cheap to run - especiall…
