Is the new CBR250R worthy of the R title as it appears more of a tourer than race rep , not as racey as the YZF-R125 for sure. http://world.honda.com/CBR250R/video/index.html

Hi everyone Just a quick post to say hello, I'm hoping to pick up an 81' DT 125 tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be full of stupid questions for the next while although looking at some of the excellent info on this forum hopefully there shouldn't be too many. I'm off to have a read and see if I can find some things to look out for when I view the bike, haven't had any dealings with a 2 stroke since I was about 15 and a Bultaco gave me a few bumps and bruises

ever wondered where your poo's go when you flush? well ponder no more with this snazzy poo tracker. watch its journey from crapper to the "works" Kev will especially like this one, even though its got nothing to do with motorcycles other than his riding style (which is poo) flushtracker

Have to report the theft of my baby, 2000(x) blue R1, 5JJ, immaculate, owned from new. Lifted from my parking bay in Kings Langley, Herts. Haven't ridden her for a year due to heart problems and surgery and was looking forward to a mega-trip next Summer. Hope theres a guilt ridden thief out there who might take pity or know the whereabouts of her. I wouldn't expect them to be on here but just in case, who knows? contact me on here if theres any news or Hemel Hempstead/Watford Police station. In spite of this pain in the arse hope everyone has a safe and fab Xmas and a Happy New Year...... Take care all, best wishes, Tony.

Having added replies to a few posts already, I then noticed a post regarding new members who don't introduce themselves. Luckily, I haven't had any problems or needed any advice, so I hope I'll be forgiven for my little oversight. So, with that out of the way, HELLO to everyone on here and a Very Happy New Year. I've been riding bikes now for over 35 years, starting with a FS1E and ending up for the last 24 years with FJ1200's (amongst many others) - My wife also rides a Yamaha, a Fazer 1000 (as well as her VF 750). My favourite biking hobbies are:- 1) the Nurburgring (done too many laps to count - or think about the cost of); 2) touring Europe with Liz and…

Hello all, after coming back here and sapping tips and information out of all of you I figure I owe you an introduction. My name's Cameron, I'm from New Brunswick, Canada and I'm trying to juggle school and hobbies. I bought a 79' DT 175 in December in hopes of restoring it to something road worthy, it's going slowly but things are starting to pick up again. I've yet to ride a bike at all and still haven't got my licence but now know a fair amount about my DT This forums helped me a ton with my build already and I'm sure will continue to be a great help down the road!

So yesterday I recieved my giannelli exhaust (after waiting 2 weeks) I was buzzing, It looks amazing so today I decided to fit it, Looked at the Pipe and it didnt even resemble the one on my bike atm, so i thought, what the hay, I'll fit the slip on can and ride to my local shop where i bought it from tomorrow and see what the deal is, But noooope, The pipe on the slip on is also wayyy to big for my bike, Got to love people who dont even know how to order what i ask for?! Rant over, So has anyone had chance to enjoy there bike today? Its been pretty warm today in sheffield

Hello fellow yammie fans. Although I'm not really a newbie, its my first time posting, a few years ago, i bought a DT175, I thought there was somthing special about it when i first saw it,and the seller told me that he believed it to be an ex-works bike, I took it with a pinch of salt but bought it anyway (too cheap to walk away from !!), however when i stripped the engine, all internal webbing was different to all the other DT's I've stripped, con rod was thicker than standard and the crank was lightend and balanced. What i need to know is how do i get a log book for it to get it back on the road when the engine and frame no.s (2K4-0031**) aren't even listed for DT's…

My daughter has been looking for a new bike. She has been considering a Ninja 250 and we finally tracked one down. The problem was it was in southern Alberta....1160k's away. We left Prince George, in northern BC at 6:30 pm after she got out of university and drove 650k's to Edson Alberta where we got a motel room at 2 am. We slept for 4 hours and then drove 500 k's to Clarehome, Alberta to pick the bike up. The bike is a 2008 ZZR250. She bought it from the dealer who had originally sold it new to an older local lady in 2009. Apparently she has two other bikes and never rode the 250 so she took it back to the dealer and asked him to sell it on consignment. …

Hi Guys Been using the new bike for a few weeks now , rain or shine...mostly rain!!! Got unbelievably soaked on Saturday during a 40 minute downpour, but heh I'm using it! However, it didn't help when it died at the lights! thinking it was the rain I was frantically kicking it over much to the amusement of the car drivers behind me, although in the downpour I'm surprised they could actually see me. As I rolled it over to the kerb I noticed the mileometer (odometer if your pedantic ) with 90 miles, I remembered I did zero it when I filled up last, a quick turn of the petcock to reserve and it sprang into life!...and it was still chucking it down. Good old DT…

  18. Right, I'm ready for the insanity to begin!! I have decided to keep the 2 rear side panels, rear one obviously as that's brand new!! and the front mudguard. I have been putting off the paint stripping for the past few weeks as I had no idea what would be good enough for it!! I am unsure of the paint effect I'm going for right now, I want to stick with a similar scheme but with I'm not certain... Metallic Blue flip with white accent? Marble midnight blue with white accent? I'm starting to think Blue to be honest but w/e... Fortunately I found out that there is pretty much the best paint stripper (£2-£3) in the world available at most super markets!! Fairy Power …

I genuinely cannot believe it... I have fallen in love with the DT, Thus I'm keeping it! Past few days I've had it out and I've covered... 70.6 miles since the bike was taxed!! I'm incredibly pleased that I took OG's advice and kept sticking with it, I've now mastered the YPVS and it isn't lifting so much now. Today I went for a ride out with a friend who owns an Aprilia RX 125 2010 model that is Dyno proven to be 21.7 hp! The DT murdered it!!! I really enjoyed the ride we had (yes we did play throughout the shire), we stopped off over selsley common in Gloucestershire and had an Ice cream while chatting about the two bikes and both of us agree …
