Found this forum while trying to figure out why my YammaGamma is smoking. Well that seems to be fixed but it wouldnt start this morning and dripped a little fuel. Will look at that tonite. Done 400km since getting it together and passing French moto test(arrrg). Its a rocket ship above 7k usually starts 3rd kick cold. 86YPVS from Italy cheap. A bit loud with those Figaroli pipes and Stan's stage 2. Its been like a video game getting this far, get stuck, look online(cheats) fix the problem, next!!! And some of the problems delt with so far: -wouldnt idle: carb slides were in backwards(duh) -Clutch wouldnt disengage: removed and freed plates -Exhaust spitting oil at…

Well it had to happen, my delight has now given way to despair. The cat went in for its MOT today and it FAILED. The three failures are: 1. Binding front caliper 2. Leaky fork seals 3. Exhaust blow (gasket). These are all repairable but its a pain in the ass as I was hoping to get the cat on the road this week. <sighs>

Hello all. New here, so please pardon my ill manners if this isn't the right place for this. Nothing much to say at this point than just introduce myself after joining and sitting a bit. Haven't actively ridden in more years than I care to think about (pre-kids). However, my daughter got her learner's permit a little while back, so I'll be trying to resurrect an old CT3 of mine and my brother's '91 FZR600 so that I can teach her to ride this summer. (Biggest lesson- unless things have changed, everyone on the road wants to kill you, so paranoia is just good sense.) I used to practically live on two wheels, so am looking forward to getting back in the saddle. I'm am…

  11. So, I've been keeping up with George R. R. Martin's journal updates. It seems that the casting for HBO's show based on his book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, is coming along rather well. Most of the people on here probably recognize the actors better than myself, as they are all British. I believe they're building a mock castle for the series somewhere outside of Belfast. Anyway, if you know the series you can check out the updates here:

What kind of wedding band did you get? Seems that many people are going non-traditional with metals these days. I personally went with Rose Gold, I had been planning on Black Titanium, but heard it scratches really easily. Just curious, as my band is supposed to arrive today!

Alrighty there... Joined up your great looking site, as I've just come into the biking world by buying a TZR 125 - after one shot taking it home, I'm hooked already! Its my first bike, passed my CBT a couple of months ago and finally got round to buying a bike at the weekend. Here's a few wee pics before it started raining! (I do live in sunny Scotland after all!) Love at first sight, she's a bit rough round the edges but I see it as challenge to tidy up odds and ends. If anyone else has one, would love to see their pics and get some inspiration! Know absolutely nothing about bikes (and not ashamed to admit it!) so any help or info about it will be gr…

Have taken 2" of padding out of the seat but the ground is still a bit hit or miss and I have to shift from one leg to another depending on camber etc. Now......................... What shorter shocks can I fling on to lower Bike by about 2" ? there is Mucho "Gap" between Tyre & Rear Mudguard, I would like to get some from a breakers all I need is a make & model of something that would do the job. I can relocate the bracket rearwards on the O/S swing arm & make up a bracket for the shaft side, but that all get…
