tonight while i was at work, some asshat hit my bike with their car. they didn't bother to leave a name, number, etc. damage: broken clutch lever shredded left hand grip broken mirror damaged lights/blinkers switch both left side blinkers are cracked cosmetic damage all along the left side and the worst;:::: the gear shifter is jammed in under the engine cover, so i cant even take it out of gear to get it loaded up. luckily our parking lot is covered by a closed circuit camera. hopefully the tapes haven't been taped over yet, and it was panning to the right spot in the lot when this happened. i just don't understand the mentality where people have so …

hi there, its been a while since ive posted, but my computer has been down. anyway, i am trying to do some work on my xs500, namely the fork seals need replacing. However, the maintenance stand is not tall enough to allow the front wheel to be removed so that I can remove the fork assembly. I am working by myself, and do not have access to a second pair of hands to help me lift the bike up onto some kind of blocks. any suggestions as to how i might manage to jack the bike up without damaging it or myself? I tried using a car floor jack and some boards/jack stands, but it was just too unstable to allow any real work to be done. i had to balance the bike with on…

I attended my 1st trackday yesterday at Snetterton (UK)! despite it being VERY windy and gloomy all day (although the rain held off until about 3pm) i had an awsome time and learnt alot about my riding techniques Roll on the better weather, i'll definately be going back and i recommend it to anyone who hasnt tried it before, brilliant day! Just one picture of mine and mates bikes lined up but there was a photographer there on the day and am just awaiting the pics to be uploaded then ill get some up. Despite my mates riding H*ndas ( ) 1 being a 'blade and another a 600RR they both admitted to my R6 being a complete "missle"

Hi guys, just found you after searching for answer to a problem i have. nice looking site you got here, will take a look around it when i have more time problem is this, i had meta alarm that packed in, took it off the bike, XJR1300, then had various wires all same colour left, couldn'e get bike to fire up at all no matter what the combination of wires were connected. decided to change the loom and now i still don't have a spark....would the coils be causing this? if so, what would have caused them to go? would it be coincidence to go same time as alarm?

When riding around town the tires dont get very warm but after a long scoot down the highway at higher speeds they warm up quite a lot more. What I've found is the following. slow speeds the tires feel good, higher speeds after warm up they feel that there is a weave in the bike when going back down to slower speed. I can ride for a while and still feel this weave in the bike at the slower speed. The next time I take the bike out again it feels fine until the tires warm up a lot more. Anyone else ever had this. Hi, I have been looking into getting a new bike since my 1st once got stolen (Honda CG 125) and while reviewing and evaluating the YBR125 I came accross a russian site (which I am unable to read) which has pictures of a Sporter looking YBR125. does anyone know if this model is avalible in the UK yet? Link to Russian site Also, could somebody tell me which is better, a Honda Cg125 or the Ybr125? the only diffrences between them both as far as i can tell, is the CG has a slightly bigger engine and the YBR has nice wheels. the things i would like to know is which one is faster and more reliable?

I'm taking my test early next month but won't be buying my bike until next year.. but I'm having trouble deciding what to get. My mind was firmly set of getting the R125 but some of my friends have said to get something bigger and restrict it and others have said stick with a small bike. I'll probably be doing a bit of traveling on it..work is 65 miles from where I live and is mostly duel carriageway and a bit of back roads. Being only 5'4" I need to find something I will be able to reach the floor on!!! I love the look of the R125 but the engine sound is a little disappointing from what I've heard so far.. And with the Aprilias..well I haven't ever really been a f…
