Hi There everyone. As the bad weather stars to come in a problem i have allways had with my visor is it steaming up and wala in seconds i cant see a thing. Now i know about Pinlock inside visors but i just cant afford one. There is riding with it slightly open but then the wind hits my eyes to hard and i have to keep blinking and you loose the water seal at the top of the visor and as most helmets go the ventelation system is... well crap. I currently have a basic Nitro skid lid and ive never owned an expencive one so i dont know if mor expensive visors work better but i cant afford one. Is there any other way to make it so it doesnt steam up as i go along or will i…

ok its me again.. just want to know if there are issues with opening out the exhaust port on the old rxs 100.. i see it seems to be narrow. I assume this is good for idle but sux for power. I also assume this is something lots of people here will have done. i plan on opening it out some so its closer to the round shape it should be. i dint want to touch the inside of the cylinder though. so is there a max size to use for best all round preformance, or just open it to the max ?

  4. Being on a bike and enjoying twists and turns helps me forget: A roof when it's wet Heating when it's cold Air con when it's hot Bumpers 4 wheels when it's raining Vulnerability pretty much all the time What I really miss is not having a little music. I don't believe the use of earphones is safe as it completely removes a vital sense that keeps you safe. So I've been looking on eBay at small fm/mp3 type radios with a couple of small speakers. Nothing too loud just something to listen to at a sensible volume while I'm enjoying a ride. (Bearing in mind 50-60mph is my limit). Anybody's thoughts?

for the past few weeks i've been riding around on a late model honda vfr750. this one- i got shot of the klr and bought this. pretty pleased with it too. MUCH better than the zzr! handles great, stops great, loadsa torque, build quality is amazing, surprisingly good on fuel etc so i'm chuffed with it. also came with scott oiler and heated grips which is handy. the klr was causing problems(within itself!) and tbh the build quality was terrible on it, the winter was not very kind indeed. it's nice to be back on a road bike, the ds was fun and i will have another one, but for the moment, this is my bike! no doubt in a couple of months i'll get another one variety is …

I keep my bike outside under a cover. Even though it is getting covered it is still getting wet with damp and condensation. I plan on getting one of those metal sheds, providing my landlord allows it! But in in the mean time is there a spray or something I can apply to my bike to stop it from rusting?

On my home from work I got pulled by the the police. This was the third time since getting my bike in March. I was not breaking any laws. The copper said I was doing over 50 on a 40 road, when in fact I was doing 38. The copper then tried telling me how fast my bike was (lmao) I then corrected him saying that my machine is only capable of 10hp and it is a very slow bike. It is even below the legal power requirement. I carried on protesting my innocence. He then began the old 'so your calling me a liar' routine. I said well you must have me doing over 50 mph on your camera. He then went over my bike with a fine tooth comb trying to do me for a defect, while his colleague …

Well after a few weeks of trouble free riding, today my clutch cable snapped. The worst thing was pushing my bike home 3 miles. By the time I got home I was shaking and soaked in sweat. When I phoned the garage up to order a new cable the guy couldn't believe it. I can fit it myself, I only fit a new one about 12 months ago.

Well here i go again with this one, i know i have said it before but it will definatly be happening next year. Im looking at selling up Betty and getting another bike, its not that i dont like her any more (i love her to bits) its just that im bored of her now and just want a little more grunt for my buck also it will be nice to see someone else enjoy her as much as i have. Now the bikes im looking at getting next are: Harley Sporty 1200 (pre 2005) Harley Ironhead 1000 (found a 1984 one im in love with but needs work) XVS 1100 (looks too bulky for me tho) Vmax (not sure how long id keep it tho as its not my style, i just want one ) Kwakimakie VN1500 XV 1600 …

I want a new helmet. I've had my current one for a few years and its scuffed and scratched, it's also been dropped a few times I had a dual sport which I liked but it got nicked. I currently have a moto x style one but I want to get a full face. After looking at all the options I just don't understand safety wise what the difference between is from a 50 quid to a 1000 quid helmet? Is buying a cheaper helmet dangerous because they are not as strong etc?

I think I have a clue about this that has bugged me for a year. The chain permanently runs on the top of the swingarm roller (new). I am not heavy so is my preload wrong on the rear shock or is it just how it is?
