Afternoon all This may be a stupid question but I was riding to work this morning (it was about -2) and the bike cut out a couple of times, once at a roundabout and then again at the lights about 1/2 a mile later. I did the normal thing, let it run until it was warm and didn't need the choke anymore before I set off and took it easy cos it was a bit chilly and the roads are slippery. The roundabout is about 2 miles from the house so I appreciate the running temperature will still be a bit low but it's never done it before. Gridlock coming to work again yesterday due to a fatal accident on the main road to Falmouth involving a bike rider but little did I know how involved we were. A deck hand of ours, working on an on-call basis, was making his way to Falmouth at 05:30 yesterday morning in drizzely & dark conditions to crew one of our boats. When he came to a blind corner he was faced with a young 30 y/o female biker sliding towards him on the deck and into his path. She must have fallen off her 125-bike due to leaves or the ridiculous amounts of diesel on the roads these days. Regretfully he was unable to avoid her and crashed himself after trying. Hi my son and I are putting together a yamaha dt125x 2009 ,which we bought as a project We are almost done but we have a problem. The front end is shot the wheel is good but the front suspension is beyond repair local garage has quoted about £500 for new set ouch,so here's the question would a set of earlier DT125r Front forks fit I have had a look they look very very similar? I've just downloaded the CD "Classic FREE" album to my I.Pod. Just listened to "All Right Now" It is my favourite record of all times, Apart from Simon & Garfunkel "Bridge over troubled waters" Also downloaded Thin Lizzy. I also think that "Whiskey in the jar" is my favourite also. I also think "Itchycoo park" is my favourite song as well. But, I recon Jimi Hendrix's "all along the watchtower" is my best song of all times. Now I'm listening to "Telegram Sam" by T.Rex I'm so confused as to which my favourite song is my head hurts.

Its petty but this time of year is always fun, people blow the dust off their bikes and go out for a wobble. They all seem to think i'm riding a 125 (nowhere does my bike state its a 250), so I get a polite sad smile that says 'you can have a proper bike like mine one day'. Then they trundle away only to find said little 125 is all over them. Most will pull up for a natter about bikes and bullshit but some get the arse and feck off.. Later in the year it doesent work so well as the wobblers are up to speed but I still catch a few.
