i got given a free stainless steel 125 4t exhaust for a shineray bike and was just wondering if it'd work on my ybr 125, the piping and fittings look the same?

Looking for a new can for my 2005 r6. Looking for 1 with a loud, deep, throaty sound. struggling to find one! please help. any ideas?

Hey everyone i am new to the site as i have recently purchased my R6 so felt like it was only right to join the yamaha owners club and share some experinces with like minded individuals. I have however got a query i hope one of you more experinced riders could help me with. I have bought a Blueflame Evo oval can for my R6 1999 i wanted to know where i can get a slip on link pipe from i have hunted high and low and have came up itemless. Its got a diameter of 50mm. Could anyone help!!!!!!!!! Cheers.

Hi all not sure if this is the right place for this please move if not. I have got myself an old twist and go to keep the miles down on the Midnight star ,the problem I have is the header pipe is starting to corrode ,I have tried to protect it by removing the loose rust and painting it with high temperature paint I have done this twice now and both times the paint has burnt off in a matter of days . The paint I used is Halfords own brand, am I doing something wrong ,Ive tried increasing the temperature gradually but it still burns of ,is there a better brand or is a downpipe just to hot for any paint. any suggestions appreciated . Its gone as if its heat treated my brand new exhaust that I just put on Just payed for my new DEP front pipe. Will it still be ok? Is it damaged now or what? I havn't seen any others do this

ok its me again.. just want to know if there are issues with opening out the exhaust port on the old rxs 100.. i see it seems to be narrow. I assume this is good for idle but sux for power. I also assume this is something lots of people here will have done. i plan on opening it out some so its closer to the round shape it should be. i dint want to touch the inside of the cylinder though. so is there a max size to use for best all round preformance, or just open it to the max ?

Hi all, It has been bugging me in the UK it is illegal to have a race can fitted to a bike. What is the difference between a race can and a road can and what makes a race can illegal?? I know this seems a simple question but didnt know if it was just the noise factor or something more?

Hi All, Perhaps you can help me out, just got the head back on and trying to attach the exhaust but all the old studs are knackered, but having real trouble getting some new ones as the bike is over 30 years old and no one seems to have any in stock , I was wondering if studs off of some thing else might fit , they are M6 studs so fairly standard size but the length has to be the same or slightly longer. Do any of you have an idea where the best place might be to get hold of some, I need 8 of couse plus the nuts. Thanks or any advice.

Can someone explain why I am having such a hard time finding a 4 into 2 exhaust replacement for my 83 XJ750M ? I've been to dozens of online stores and all I can find is 4 into 1. The only problem with the 83 Midnight Maxim I just bought is it needs a new exhaust. Is this why I got it so cheap? other than the exhaust it looks and runs like new.

Hi, ive just brought a new leo vince tt exhaust for my Yamaha Aerox YQ 50 and have removed the restrictor cone, however i have lost all of my acceleration and have heard that you need to do something with the jests to let more fuel through any ideas??? Cheers

I am getting ready to put new aftermarket exhaust (complete system) on my 2006 v star 1100 and I was wanting some input from the v star 1100 community or anyone with some knowledge of the subject. I am looking for deep sounding exhaust with high performance. I would also like an exhaust that is not inclines to blue as easily as others. Any suggestions, please feel free. Thanks.

Leo vince sbk exhaust fitted to the R6 2 day....full carbon end can loss of converter of the catalytic type(sorry tree huggers) but i looks sweet.. sounds sweeter.. and a quite noticable gain in pull The bits are comin but real slow...anyone know if a 07 pair of arrow rearsets will fit on 08

Anyone know if you can get the short GP style exhaust as per on the later R6's to fit my 2004 R6? Think they look a lot nicer than the standard 2004 can Cheers

Hi y'all not been on for a while been waiting for my exhausts to arrive.. as you know i had great enthusiasm and excitment about changing the exhausts n studs on my bike but with them not turning up i decided to checked back n read the not so obviouse print at the bottom of the page to my horror it said 12 to 14 days whaaaaaaat!!! so im a bit miffed i didnt read that, so ive been titivating the bike a bit, not too much as this would detract from what i want from the bike so i haven't had much to report on,except still here waiting for them to arrive oh moving to Tidworth soon

Hi Guys only just registered for this forum, been a reader for some time now!! i bought my Yammy FZ6S after getting my full license back in june (upgraded from a 06 xvs 650 custom) haven't looked back!! HOWEVER i am currently in the market for a slip on set of cans and was wondering if i bought them from overseas will they still fit my Australian supplied bike?? i got some prices for several exhausts here in OZ and they are all terribly expensive, even purchasing from overseas and costing in around $100 in freight i will still end up approx $400 ahead.
