Hi All, Model: 2003 V-star 650cc. In Ireland we call them Dragstars. The one I have was originally imported from the USA. Mileage: Approx 5000 miles (the bike is new to me and I have to presume the mileage is genuine. But I notice both tyres are tubless and not the same make. For example, front tire is Continental. I would have presumed original tyres would still be on bike and they would be tubled.) Problem: Oil is being blown up from crankcase breather pipe (I believe thats what it is called) into the airbox. I noticed it as it weaps/leaks out the side of the airbox (part that sits on top of carbs) and more or less drips off the end of the idler adjuster under the tank near the tank on/off/reserver tap. Many thanks in advance, Will.

Hi guys, I should adjust tappet screws on front of front cylinder and rear of rear cylinder as there is an oil leak at both ends. Could be an issue with O-rings there. I think the fitting socket for bolts would be 22mm? I feel like the frame is blocking the adjustment as they seem to be hard for a tool to reach? Can someone tell me the O-ring sizes I should buy and the precautions I should take? Thank you!

My 1982 Virago has 22,000k and has never had any oil leaks until the last month or so. Leaks have begun around the outside of both front and rear cylinder head gaskets next to the crankcase. I have snugged up the 3, (three) allan screws on each side with no success. It has been suggested that there is increased pressure in the crankcase that has to be addressed. Is there a crankcase vent or other vent that may be plugged? All sources I have checked are vague on location etc. Any help will be appreciated.
