The only real bonus is that he's not causing any harm to anyone else, but he's still a right sad bas*ard. Rob.........prefers to do the job with a woman.

As the title says, anyone at Cadwell this weekend, NG Racing. Today was wet until about 4.00pm but that did'nt stop the riders going like hell, one or two 'off's' but thankfully, no serious injuries. So!! are you going to be there tomorrow , the forcast is good. Rob

I have a positive feedback of 1270 and my account is up for free, there's no way I'm accepting not being able to give a bad buyer negative feedback. Evilbay seems to ignore the fact that if there's no sellers, there's no buyers. The vast majority of my buyers have been decent and honest people, the small minority have just been complete tw*ts. Why should these idiots be allowed to slag you off without reprisal.

Why do you want to do this?? I'm sure you could run your bike without an oil cooler, so long as you don't thrash it or do long runs. I still think it would be best to leave it fitted though. Rob

I can't seem to get the link to work.

Steve, thanks for your honest reply, it's the sort of answer I was looking for. Silverstone and Donington have both been recomended by some biker friends, and one or two 'horror' stories about Cadwell back up what you say. Many thanks. Rob

That's a damn good guess mate. If you have a multi meter check the battery voltage without the engine running, you should get a reading of about 11.2 to 11.8 volts, start the engine and check again, you should now get a reading of up to 13.8 volts.

In your dream, were you sporting a long flowing beard and wearing a leather jacket with fringes/tassels, or whatever the damn things are called.
  11. Any ideas, anyone!!!!!

Yes I have and I hope it continues to be successful, evilbay is fast becoming a very expensive way to sell and it could do with some competition.

One thing worth trying, just take the top off the fluid reservoir and be ready to wipe up any excess fluid, might be over filled. Worth a try. Rob

Yes I have mate, several times, it's just so funny you have to watch it over and over. Rob

Now that is funny Mervin! I love your signature, it's wicked.
  16. I have a 98 600 Divvy and I would really like to fit either an oil pressure gauge, or at least a warning light. I know it’s equipped with an oil level light but I would feel more easy if it had a pressure indicator. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks. Rob

Try here mate, http://www.motad.co.uk/index.php click on Silencers on the left side bar. If you don't want to buy a new one I sugest you look in Yellow Pages for a welding specialist and get your silencer repaired. Rob

Hello mate and welcome, I'm a newbie myself, it's a good forum.
  20. Well said mate, they're a damn nuisance, it's the plonkers who ride in groups of twenty or more that really get me, three abreast and as long as a lorry, holding up the traffic and paying sod all. My way of getting them back is to overtake slowly in my diesel van and then floor the loud pedal to flat out in second gear, by god I do leave a nice smoke trail for the lycra queens to breathe in.
  21. I've just signed up, three times, that's the beauty of having several email addresses What do our 'leaders' hope to achieve by this proposed nonsense?? The UK is fast becoming the laughing stock of the world, time for a revolution I fear. I'm getting older and grumpier and I'm pissed off with being pushed further and further into the corner, I'm a placid sort of chap, but when I'm cornered I become a fighter. Rant over, I'll get my coat now.

As far as I know all Jap bikes have been unleaded since 1973. 4star is only available to classic vehicle clubs and is very scarce. Hope this helps. Rob

My wife is from Liverpool (poor lass ) and she get's very irate if refered to as a 'scouser', apparently scouse is Liverpudlien for stew. It gets worse, 'cob o chuck' is bread and butter.

You most likely over reved the engine when you missed second gear and done a bit of damage inside. Best take it to a motorcycle mechanic to diagnose the fault. One other thing, what grade of oil did you top up with, might not be the right stuff for your bike.
