2000 xjr 1300
hi mate, have a look at your starter button switch assy, take the two screws out and clean it all with brake cleaner, you can bypass the switch by using split pin across the two wires going to the starter button.if no joy trace it back to next block connecter , prob under tank close to headstock, look at wires there for damage/corrosion etc and then use split pin accross the two wires again, eventually u will find the fault,

yzf 750 flat spot
hi try exup valve , they should open at approx 5000, and make shit load of difference if they dont, also these suffer with faulty plug caps , so replace with ngk ones.if all else fails borrow some standard carbs that you know are 100% and see what happens , have you run it on a dyno? to see what happens they couls tell you if fuel or electric related fault.

cam/ timing chain help needed
hi mate, these bikes are prone to noisy tappets and noisy cam chain. the valves need checking and adjusting every 2500 miles, you can give the chain tensioner a nudge forward also so its takes up the slack, ake sure the oil is changed regularly too and is at the upper level.. shout me back if you need any further help.

Bike Keeps Overheating Can Anyone Help? PLZ
hi, is bike pissing coolant out?? if not seems like you dont have real problem, the temp guage is never 100% accurate. most bikes fans wont cut in until 102 - 106 degrees , so you may not have a fault, is the bike running ok? do the fans cool the temp down??does your bike have one or two fans ? is one not working?also is your water / anti freeze mix approx 50/50, water boils at 100 . the anti freeze slows that down so wont boil til higher temp.

Any engine gurus out there?
hi mate, have you looked at the drive belt and variator rollers? , also the drive clutch. any of these can cause your problems, they are relatively cheap to sort out too. the cuting part is prob cutting the restricter tube from the exhaust pipe,; its always worth changing the spark plug frequently too.. keep smiling!
