  1. this section is not for how to fix your bike fella, just an intro and maybe a bit about you/your bike
  2. Can you clarify what you are saying here dew?
  3. you mean a 3 legged puller? if so thats the wrong tool and you will risk damaging the flywheel using it!
  4. Thats a great review Ray, good to see you enjoyed it
  5. are you using a proper flywheel puller that screws into the rotor?
  6. thats about it tomy, remove the fixing bolt, screw in the puller and tighten the bolt in the puller...bang on the end of said bolt if absolutely necessary!
  7. Greetings Dave, nice intro but hurry up man get some miles in quick like

  11. perhaps the plates have stuck together, a common enough problem caused by lack of use?, maybe try rocking the bike back and forth in gear with the clutch pulled and a hot engine?

  16. Greetings Pete, well done Rotherham
  17. as a temporary fix it would work yeah, and your neutral light will be an indication that all is well...maybe even toot the horn now and again to be sure. Get it fixed properly ASAP I dont like the idea of you riding around with this long term, it would be good if you come back soon and report that you have fixed it properly
  18. yeah that would work but your connections would need to be 100% good, not just a bit of wire shoved in that can be easily pulled out...It looks like you need to repair your loom or get another
  19. and it's a no from me too, sort out the DTR engine
  20. Good intro shad, hey It's funny how that oil leak from the forks looks like cats...how about that? Greetings
  21. the only other thingI can think to try to prove the loom is duff is this, unplug the rear brake switch and secure a piece of wire (jumper) between the brn connector to the loom and the battery +, you should find that lights, horn etc now work...disconnect the keyswitch and using your multimeter check the voltage at the loom brn again, you should find you have nothing at that point if your loom is broken. Take the utmost care with the jumper connected to the battery because if you touch any frame components it will spark, so it needs a lot of care. Only do this if you feel competent not because I told you to I cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by your errors. It would be safer with an inline fuse in the jumper too.
