  1. yeah the test is to see if the resistance is within acceptable tolerances of specification Bk/whi_Gnd should be 2.14 ohms +- 10% come to think of it 2.4 ohms cannot equate to many windings at all so now I'm thinking that 6v may not be all that un-realistic after all 1 my 175 with cdi has a resistance of 130 ohms...many many more windings then and a far higher voltage developed, in excess of 100v if I remember correctly
  2. The 600 is an "everyday cheap fun commuter" I love mine, put it this way, I would'na want to swap it for a 250...no way

  4. not the way I did it though, I justed clicked the IMG field in photobucket, it responded as usual with 'copied'...then I pasted it in the forum, that's the way I do it.
  5. I agree it is way to low for the ignition source coil...I assume you measured the voltage from that eh? was your meter switched to AC volts?
  6. what's the exhaust header like? has it got a restrictor tube in there?

  10. just give the switch a spray and work the plunger in/out to free it off before bypassing it, it may just mend it

  12. Yep another great rally, we went to Knaresbrough which was very picturesque down by the river and saw some of 'Le tour en Yorkshire'...well the canival bit at the front anyway. There was another rideout today but me n Tommy scooted off home...I went to see 'Le tour en Derbyshire' just up the valley at Woodhead...superb stuff

  14. he means the hole in the bottom of the bowl lol, the one that feeds fuel to the choke cct
  15. it's a no brainer! put the old ones back in
