  6. probably from any/most yamaha dealers try yambits or wemoto too? really this should be more of an intro and less of a where can?

  8. Congrats Ray, some great pictures of the happy occasion there mate.
  9. yep keep it off the driveway and out of sight in the garage, sometimes they come mob handed and carry the bike into the back of a van!
  10. check you have a good flow of fuel to the carb, disconnect the pipe and have a look-see
  11. I reckon the hot sun is fooling the fuel injector that the engine is hot, therefore it gives no choke on startup and that's why you only had idle....just my guess though
  12. Few more pics Drewpys Squires 2014 T-Shirt, 500 replies, 5000 views and all he got was this lol Oldtimer explaining his wheelie technique to dirtydt RD700, nice bit of home engineering Group shot of those who camped
  13. yeah thats epoxy insulation covering the solder joint it should look like that
  14. there isnt a gasket between the case halves and fitting on will cause no end of trouble with end float in abundance on all shafts!
  15. no simon you can buy a rubber grommet from yamaha to block that off nicely, and unless you're doing some serious enduro stuff I'd recommend you block off the back one too because it isnt needed and plays havoc with your wheel balance as you can imagine
  16. yeah mate just tap the seal in flush with the casing face
  17. Yeah bippo didnt see you for dust on the road home As always it was just great being in the company of you guys loved every minute of it and and what a rideout eh one to remember not be so wet for a long time, It's a lovely day for drying the tents.
  18. it'll be 12v, hardly anything has 6v nowadays but even so my DT has 6v and I can run a tomtom off that remarkably
  19. tell you what...if you can hear the pump noise you have a remarkably quiet engine/exhaust
  20. could it be wear in the bore/piston? often called 'Piston Slap' oil pumps are silent running
  21. Tommy, if you cant fix it can you come in the car and bring your bike gear? you can ride pillion with me if you want
