  1. best sprayed into the cap of the aerosol and brushed on with a paintbrush, itll protect your bike against corrosion, but the best protection is not use it in winter...cant see that applying to you though
  2. not on the brakes and disks and tyres fella, kinda obvious realy
  3. unfortunately i am not a: Gonna ride it in winter b: familiar with ACF50 errr....so which is it??

  5. wow looks like you dropped lucky there mate, love those bikes but alas theyre much faster than me lol anyway...Greeting and and it's such a shame you have to wait until they salted the roads before you pick up the bike?
  6. still leaking matey, it should NOT be bubbling and it should NOT be warm. Tell me are you using a genuine yamaha gasket, they have a thin black rubber coating? or are you using a naff cheapo painted metal jobbie bout as useful as a chocolate ashtray ?
  7. just the end can mate, as the web page says...silencer
  8. nahh usually only the head will warp so no point disturbing those studs, best left alone and not messed with IMO
  9. Hmm not sure checking with a flat edge will be good enough though, might have been a better way to ckeck the head on a piece of glass...see if it rocks like, smear it with oil, does it seal down to the glass etc when viewed through the glass. OK then look out fot bubbling in the coolant expansion tank ?
  10. will if the bike is ridden with the head gasket keaking it can in some cases warp the cylinder head, really you should have checked this when you fitted the new head gasket. If it is warped you'll have to have it skimmed flat again
  11. It says on the CMSNL website 84 euros each but you'd have to check i'm looking at the correct thing here http://www.cmsnl.com/products/inner-tube-comp1_2c8f311000/ Part# 2C8-F3110-00

  13. you havent really explained what is wrong with your forks jon...what exactly is 'shot' ?
  14. Hi jon, not sure NEV would know but we dont see him nowadays, I seem to think though that the forks use different disk calipers...like the supermoto has a brembo and a bigger disk ??
  15. sorry mate but I really dont see this as a viable adea, save up and buy a bike before you get in deep and spend loads of £££'s on this idea...well that's my opinion anyway
  16. Hey Jon welcome in fella stick around and join in why dont ya
  17. crikey connor you're going about it the wrong way fella, If you just save up until next summer you'll get a better bike for less money than it will cost you this way I reckon! did you get a V5 and is the Vin correct on this frame?
  18. OMG it's one of those digital speedos !!!
  19. as Yamaha own mbk, it sounds a promising line of enquiry though I doubt you'll get the answer from a forum...fingers crossed for you though
