eh? choke uncscrewed from carb and finger over the hole = full choke
-
theres a special circlip that holds it in Simon part# 102-25137-00
-
13 is a 'boost bottle' leave it alone, no idea what the other is i've never seen on...treat with suspicion lol, but leave it alone
-
she's choking to death with all that smoke, needs a good run to clear it all out, hopefully it's not your crank seal RH thats an issue
-
lol just copy and paste the browser from the page you are referring to like this
-
post the link !

Only seen the film with the choke on surely the rate of descent in the syringe is slower with choke off ?
-
you have to use a hosting site, I use photobucket but there are others, load your pics to there and then copy the img tag to here
-
it looks like the choke is pulled...(lots of shaft showing?), it sounds like the choke is on too ?
-
yhe one between the carb and engine is the boost bottle, not sure about the other...the only time I saw emmisions stuff was on a DTRE not a DTR 2002 ?
-
yeah by all means try the needle but that wont have any effect at wide open throttle, chances are it'll be fine with the 240 but just for peace of mind you could stick in a 250, when all said and done without specialist measuring equipment it's all trial and error Theres no way you'll need to move the needle 2 notches I think it would run rough if you do...maybe 1 maybe none you'll just have to try it Cant see youll need 260 MJ either just too big a jump...but again, theyre cheap enough so if you want to try 260 and 250 and compare?
-
I wouldnt go bigger than 250 myself...

I mentioned the overflow because it is also the vent for the bowl, if this vent is blocked or the pipe attached to it is, then a vacuum is developed in the bowl which literally sucks the fuel from the tank (or syringe) and fills up the engine!
-
that fuel is filling up your engine cases, i'd take out the plug overnight let it evaporate off is the float bowl overflow intact ?
-
wow very smart John
-
is the choke off (pushed in) ?
-
try a squirt of oil in each cylinder she may be down on compression due to standing that long
-
yeah that'll be fine mate, had it in mine once, all oils are better than they were 30 years ago anyway
-
