It's 'dog n ducked' -
Have a good one drewpy, I'm off to the NEC bike show
-
It's not an oil pressure light, It's a 2 stroke tank oil level light, comes on in Neutral and if the level in the tank is low...no bother if you're pre-mixing Car oil has additives that might make your clutch slip...bit ironic that eh
-
its just the plates stuck together. Get the engine hot. Then select 6th gear and with the clutch lever pulled in try pushing the bike it might free them. Plz post q's like this in 'Workshop' Ohh and how bout a little intro in 'New Members' ?
-
unscrew the plug cap and chop off 10mm of HT lead from the front cyl coil
-

-
wheres Elvis, wheres Bippo, wheres Cynic, whares DT502001 ????

you're missing the point, if it had a big chain/cable clearly on view...perhaps they'd have walked on by an alarm might be good too, it all helps if your parking place isnt secure
-
hmm i'll have to get mine listed
-
dont buy cheap, got to your yamaha dealer and order the proper parts, they will be high tensile strength and you should fit proper bolts to your brakes, what year is your ybr ? hey I'm sorry to hear about your predicament, thieving bastards, try to get something other than the disk lock, a big cable/chain lock as well ?
-
dont know much about these things but my thought are...does it have a balancer shaft?
-
Wide Open Throttle
-
just leave the sparkplug out, it'll all evaporate over a day or two
-
might not be enough just to wet the key mate but try that first eh?
-
I do, never had any bother by doing so either
-
Check your nipples, have you still got two?
-
That'll be the problem yes it'll suck loads of fuel through because the small drilling in the end has gone
-
best I can do is ammend your title Mark
-
Greetings Naomi, you were done there !
-
tell you what, get a jam jar with a little water in it, take the gearbox breather tube and put it beneath the water level and start the bike, look for bubbles or the water going down...that'll test the RH seal, It's an easy enough test to do and I'm not happy about the smoking just yet but it could be the smoke they all put out when cold...just seemed an awful lot in the vid
-
john, yeah the tube is shorter but no worries because the vacuum will draw fuel up the tube in the bowl anyway provided the seal around the tube is intact. Now this syringe...How do we know that the rate of descent isnt absolutely normal, I've never heard of anyone using it as a health check tool for an engine? and didnt blackhat say his 250 did the same, dont forget the syringe doesnt hold much fuel in it's small diameter. Cant see anything wrong with this carb, it looks in v good condition to me. What about the smoking, boy does that thing smoke!!! this could cause rough running as I think I said earlier. The RH crank seal may be fubared for all we know...does the smoke smell bad bad bad yuk...or a nice 2t oil smell? Take out the dipstick, can you smell petrol in the oil?
-
well I never, you'll need one of these then and some gaffer tape
