Wont make any difference to the strength of the fork, If your'e not going to need the light then you dont need to fit it or the brackets., bear in mind though that a lot of cables are routed through the headlamp, so you will have to do something with these to keep it all working (the bits you need) and tidy

I dont think we condemn Harleys or any other make of bike, maybe a little piss taking here and there but you always get that its just a bit of fun, the only time I saw a lot of it was when a Harley fan came here and threw down the gauntlet by saying that Yamaha's were just Harley wannabe's, he then promptly disappeared but got plenty of replies to his post...havent really noticed much slagging off of harleys since then...especially recently, each to their own I say.

Hi shokz, im confused that you think its a good idea but we should not have it here, there aint any point having mods if they cant stop fights and slanging matches like what just happened recently, we dont think it does the site any good when a member starts being abusive to another and now we have the means to deal with it which we didnt have last time. Are you sure that this part isnt the split collar that goes on the wheel spindle where the fork bottom clamp is on the right hand fork leg...it sure looks like it to me. See Here item 16 I think
