  1. To add to what nayruf said, the key can be removed in the off position (and the parking lights position), I dont think yours has a parking lights position as you stated only three
  2. That picture is causing some problem, normally if it were an adjuster there would be a locking nut also. However did you check out the cable? a fraying or old and rusty cable will have this affect

  9. Good idea if its a known common problem.
  10. If it really is chrome (test with a magnet) you should not really use solvol autosol, its a great polish but is best used on stainless steel or un-coated aluminium etc and is abrasive, Check with a magnet first

  14. Well spotted, Its a mk 2 airsporter but on a GD serial. Scope mounts are indeed difficult but I now have some good news there, forum member 'Little Dave' is looking into getting me some from the states....Ahhh the power of the forum
  15. Hi Clarky, Try spraying the inlet manifolds or any pipe that connects them to each other with WD40 when the engine is 'racing'. Any notable change in revs will be your air leak. ...Paul
  16. Hi Lou and welcome to the forum. It might be an idea to identify the bike using the engine / frame numbers then we can have a look at the original diagram if we can find one. ...Paul
  17. Yep it sure would....I think he was joking Glueing them is the correct procedure but it does leave you in a bit of a fix when you want to get them off ...get it....Fix My suggestion would be to get a syringe ( such as is supplied from a printer ink cartridge refill kit) or any other means you may know of, and try to inject something like white spirit between the heated grip and the bar. On the throttle side you wont have a problem if the two bikes are the same or use the same throttles, but obviously you will have to do the same if not. Another option is good old Google, a weath of information is out there. ...Paul
  18. I have a cable routing guide in a factory manual for both the 125 and the 175MX bikes. I take it you want the 175 version. PM me your email address and I will scan and send it you. ...Paul
