  1. I knew The Sweet and Blue Mink
  2. try spraying something like WD40 at the left crank seal when the bike is running, you'll have to take aim through the slots in the flywheel, if it has a significant effect on the running then the LH crank seal needs replacing

  11. some other problem then, got another CDI to try?
  12. when you turn on the key and the PV comes to rest after the cleaning cycle, the 'U' shaped cutout in the pulley should be directly inline with the blind 4mm hole in the cylinder head...use the cable adjusters to achieve this. That's how the check the alignment
  13. you can easily check the adjustment do you know how to check the adjustment? by the way it's absolutely essential you leave enough slack in the cable so as to not stress the servo motor, it's easy to over tension these cables
  14. is the PV working or has it Jammed up? can you see the thing do its cleaning cycle when you turn the key on, you can hear it too zzzt zzzt ??
  15. as far as I know cosmetically they are both the same...don't know how they were or wernt restricted...i'm not an expert on them though I have a Haynes book
  16. 12w was restricted to 12bhp, 10V wasn't restricted

Has you bike got any on-board storage for the piece of wood...say under the seat?? it really doesn't have to be a very big piece at all, something that will go in your pocket is well big enough
  23. Airhead replied to slice's post in a topic in General
carry a small piece of wood, say 3/4" thick for starters...roll the rear wheel onto said piece of wood...put on stand...retrieve wood...voilla Fine tune with different thickness for your piece of wood
