  4. It hasnt forecast a dry weekend georgie but if that doesnt put you off (it would me) bear this in mind.   5. Its a fours stroke engine billy, so no reed valves here.
  6. Good tip mike, I would run the bike upto temperature on the stand also. Temperature normally helps to release 'frozen' clutches
  7. The rectifier has a male and female connector so it couldnt easily be wired wrong.
  8. Check the bulbs front and rear are working and that they are the same wattages as the ones in the right side, Alternatively swap all the bulbs right to left / left to right...see if the problem migrates too

Hope the weather is kind for you Georgie, and here is a factor to predict...Petrol station availability? lots of in town stations will close so plan your distances carefully or you'll be sleeping on the grass verge when you go onto reserve like I did all those years ago with a trip from Glossop to Cornwall.   10. kelum top up your cells with de-ionised (distilled) water. With a multimeter on the battery terminals measure the voltage when the engine is revved to around 5000 rpm's and report back.

I didnd see the post about your username until just now, mike did ask for it to be deleted so I did that, personally I cant see anything at all wrong with your usermame, I've see far worse and after all it's better than mine.

  18. Greetings Wayne, yeah a few refreshers would be a wise move, bikes only feel heavy in slow manouvering, once you get out and about you'll soon master it.
