salz clutches usually have an adyustment (not cable adjustment) sometimes there is a pointer on the clutch arm and a mark on the casing that must align if you push the arm until it stops. I suggest you get a Haynes manual and have a look-see.
  9. Greetings 96V and been a lovely day here for once
  10. sounds like a similar issue to this thread here and may need the clutch adjusting (not just the cable slack) as merv says you would get great advice on the aircooled rd forum
  11. Rachael here is a diagram of the parts involved Click on the Starter tab %201A3RM-300EA/STARTER/"]My link you will need to buy a kicker mechanism (see other link) and the oil seal numbered 18 in the diagram, you will have no trouble finding the lever on ebay I found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/kick-start-shaft-dtr-125-yamaha-/330595316844?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item4cf904346c

is the plug getting wet bill? these bikes dont have a crankcase drain, you have to leave the plug out and let it stand for quite a time until it evaporates off. so you need fuel? spark? and compression? but i expect you know that already.
  13. Here she is, today cost me a new chain and sprocket set and the guys at Terry Sivester's worked wonders removing a seized wheel adjuster bolt. Ordered a new healight cowl and plastic dash which was broken.

yeah I have the same problem with my bandit, now i pump them up at home with a footpump or one of the car pumps that plug into a lighter socket.
  17. no mate theres no shaft there but i think the cases are machined to accept the mechanism and the outer case just has a bung in.
