    yeah leave the plus out as you turn it and you wont have to fight against compression, not sure about the clutch though? what do people think to pouring some diesel in it to keep things wetted...daft or good n cheap? Oil's expensive innit! or how abou, change the oil in your daily rider and put the used oil in the spare engine...that'll do no harm eh?

  23. how many slots are in the side of the flywheel?, the 1 o clock posn would be for the early 7 wire cdi 3 coil stator and 2 slot flywheel rotor the 11 o clock posn would be for the later 6 wire cdi 2 coil stator and 4 slot flywheel but this applies to the UK bikes, not the DT175E...not sure what they had but at that stage I think they were like our early version
  24. hope there isn't a bit of a broken spring in there!, can you put the bike on a centre stand and get the wheel off the ground and spin it by hand, you might have to put some weight on the back of the seat to lift the front...guessing
