  1. The forks often 'twist' in the yokes after a spill, they may well not be bent.
  2. yeah a good yamaha dealer should be able to get from using your bike model code i'd say
  3. when you turn on the ignition key the pv goes through a cleaning cycle (sounds like zzzt zzzt) then comes to rest, the 'U' slot in the pulley should now be directly in alignment with the blind 4mm hole in the cyl head, use the two cable adjusters to achieve this and take care to leave enough slack in the cable so as to not stress the servo

    Oh dear that's a shame doodlefool, but glad to hear you and the bike a pretty much unscathed though...If I may suggest...bin the cruise control whatever that is!!!
  8. Loved every minute of it and we were lucky with the weather...Guess that's the end of biking events for this year, and look forward to seeing everyone next year. Merry Xmas everybody

  11. Thats a confusing answer! Spraying the original bar keeps the original part and replacing with aftermarket stuff doent.
  12. Doess this bike have a clutch switch...have you checked that ??

  14. no you're reading it wrong This is a speed limiter device, when the speed hits 55mph the magnetic field closes the switch (I think) and closes down the pv somewhat....That's how I see it anyway. For the last time...try disconnecting it!!!

  16. There is a clear picture of the removed reed in my pinned topic about de-restricting that bike, see post #45, it seems that yours has been chopped out and replaced with a blade fuse? Like I said, disconnect the fuse and give it a try

  19. I wouldnt, if it's not smooth it's because the races are indented/pitted
  20. DONT go any where near your brake disks with 'ANY' of these products!
  21. use copper grease (coppaslip) on the exhaust nuts
