pretty sure it shold have studs not bolts. Personally I would recommend you buy the correct studs and if the thread is stripped from the cylinder then get someone to fit a thread insert, any local engineering company will be able to do this

burning a hole in the piston can be ignition timing too advanced, I'd suggest checking the timing and stripping/cleaning the carb and it's jets, you can buy aerosol carb cleaner sprays

could the bores / rings be worn? a compression test might be useful

dunno fook all about a majester? is this a majesty scooter thing, does it have a carb...a choke etc ?

needle position is effective from approx 1/4 to 3/4 throttle airscrew (mixture) is effective from approx idle to 1/4 throttle
