Not really restricted John, it's more in a mild state of tune. however there may be a small tube in the neck of the standard exhaust the will reduce the diameter. This can be removed, I will put up some pics later for you

How many were in the EBC kit?

seized drive chain links can do this foamy, have a look at them when they are on the straight run between the sprockets, seized ones will be easily seen here. In my experience a new chain will be the only remedy if it proves to be the case.

Cracking job nets and a great bike too, bet it's a hoot to ride.

Ask them anyway, like i said thats a drastic remedy and an expensive one too. maybe the carb just wants a good clean. If youre not confident get some professional help with that

I think the timing may be out. or maybe it needs a new carb.. did you check the oil ? I said did you check the oil?

Needing a new carb is a drastic remedy to say the least! Did you ask him why he said that?

Wemoto do them but a full set is £118 ...dont know if this is cheap or not but it's not if compared to a DT http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Yamaha/YZF_750_R/93-97/

I have to do some work on the old DT, fit a new magneto source coil and time it. Maybe strip down the carb too and fit a new air filter...thats on Saturday so i'm thinking a ride to Matlock Sunday would be in order.

Photo? Have you now damaged the bolt...as in mushroomed it? If a bolt like this wont budge try placing a tube against a solid wall or somethhing, then hit the bolt into the tube.
